Just what I needed!
I've owned a 30K gal pool for over 30 years, and have tried pretty much every pool cleaner out there from Kreepy to Barracuda to Hayward. The idea of a self-contained cleaner that bypasses your external pump and filter system is just genius. This item is quick, thorough, and flexible enough to handle light, quick cleans to heavy-duty post-rainstorm messes. No trouble handling anything from large tree leaves to microfine dust. I suggest ordering the basket with the accordion-style filtration to capture and collect fine dust particles. Runs randomly around the pool from the 12' deep end to the 4' shallow end and cleans the entire pool in 1-2 hours. It gets the sides and waterline as described. I would describe this unit as a pool cleaning system rather than just a pool vac. Set and forget. Turn it on a walk away. It is a substantial unit, especially when full of water, and I could see some smaller women struggling to pull it out of the pool to store. It simply does everything I need it to do well. The filter baskets remove and hose off easily and replace. My pool has never been this clean. Sorry I wasted $ on those other so-called "cleaners" for all those years. This unit easily makes them obsolete. Very impressive unit and technology.

Pricy, but worth it in the long run and will save you time!
I was skeptical about the E20 at first - I read so many mixed reviews, but didn’t have the $900+ to spend on models that have stellar reviews. I’m so, so glad I went with this model! I have an Intex Ultra Frame and it keeps the pool spotless. The only downside it that it can’t get into the rounded vinyl corners, but that’s easy enough for me to clean. The fine mesh filter that comes with the E20 states that you need an ultra fine (additional purchase) to filter out sand, but you absolutely don’t. It does great at keeping sand in the filter. It also states that it doesn’t scrub the waterline, but it does. It’s a big investment, but so worth it in the long run.

Not worth the money
I bought this last October 2023 bc my original Dolphin broke just after the 2 year warranty expired. I was hesitant to buy another, but it was off season and I needed something quick. We opened the pool last May. It has not cleaned well for the 3 weeks the pool has been open. There is a lot of dirt on the pool floor. Tonight, I cleaned the filter, placed in the pool and watched it to see if it picked up dirt. I saw it run over dirt and leaves without sucking up a single particle. All parts appear to be working, there just is very little suction. In addition, the cord twists upon itself immediately and shortens the lengths to which the vacuum is able to travel. Within a month, it was broken but under warranty. I was able to get it fixed quickly at a local repair shop. Flash forward to summer 2025. Now the power supply broke. This must be common bc when I reported it online for the warranty, it immediately asked if power supply was broken. This was July 16. I was told they’d immediately ship another one. Today, July 31 it still has not shipped. When I called I was told they’d immediately ship were “switching warehouses” and I’d get it “as soon as possible.” I’ve had no pool cleaner for over two weeks and no update as to when I’ll get one. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Amazing robot.
For eight seasons, I manually vacuumed our pool, and this little guy, whom we have named "Flipper," is unreal. The two-hour cycle cleans 100% of the pool, including the benches and stairs. He climbs the walls above the water line and everything in between. We have more debris in the shallow end, and I learned that the algorithm learns where to clean the most, so start it where you see the largest amount of debris in your pool. At first, we saw Flipper doing wheelies across the bottom. I did a little research, and the FAQ from the manufacturer's site stated to place the robot into the pool upside down, and it will right itself. It aids in removing excess air in the unit, and it worked like a charm. For the price, this little guy is a powerhouse.

Recommended pool cleaner with one watch out
The Good: this cleaner works great. It replaced my old Polaris and what an upgrade! I hadn’t cleaned my pool in a while. This cleaner picked all kinds of debris and silt. It climbs walls. Step climbing is more of a challenge (for any cleaner). It’s easy to clean the unit-which btw is v important. After multiple uses this summer, this unit is a keeper! So-so: the electric cord that fits into the control box did not seat well. The rubber end is v hard. However after a few weeks it did seat well and I was able to lock it in place. I contacted the company about this and they were willing to replace the unit or I could wait till end of pool season (fall). I won’t have to now. But that’s why I gave it 4 stars. Good value for money and would definitely buy again.

Warranty is top notch!!
We didn't follow the instructions for taking care of Max (we name our robots). Cord was a mess, power box stopped displaying... eventually Max stopped working altogether. He was a workhorse for the 2 seasons we had him. Got the fine mesh filter for the summer and he was amazing. I decided to check the warranty and found i still had a few weeks left before the 2 years ran out, so I registered and created a warranty request. My husband took Max to the UPS store and had them pack him up. Cost about $80 for packing and shipping. Max arrived home yesterday and he's been completely refurbished! New cord, tracks, motor, power box... Max is like brand new!! Tips: Register your robot... it's totally worth it Stretch out the cable and don't let it bake in the sun all twisted up If your robot dies... send him in. In less than 2 weeks he'll be brand new The fine mesh filter is worth it Outstanding product!!

Works great as described, easy to set up and use.
It took no more than 15 minutes to remove from packing box and putting it in the pool to start cleaning. It climbs the smalls just as seen in the videos. It has a cycle on time that’s either 2 or 3 hours. Haven’t been around long enough while it’s running to time it. It reaches all corners of the pool. It’s a bit heavy when you take it out of the pool. After it drains then it lightens up. The latch on the bottom of the refuse basket maybe damaged. It’s easy to remove the basket to clean it. The filters captured a lot of fine dirt/particles that my Hayward Navigator wouldn’t pick up or if it did would go straight to the pool filter. Very happy with this product.

Quit working after 45 days
This product worked great for a month and a half. Then, it stopped working. It would come on and move a little (so there were no power supply issues) and then stop. There is no indication of an error code on the power supply box; the blue light is normal. I can find no clogged filters or issues without disassembling (based on everything I found online). I called customer support this morning. Not very helpful at all. I have to ship it back or find a supplier near me. Once they receive it, it takes two to three weeks to repair it. So, shipping it there and back, I will be without the cleaner for at least a month during the middle of summer or "pool" season. I purchased this unit to enjoy the convenience of it during the months in which we swim. I understand there is a process for everything, but it seems like they would ship me a replacement and let me ship my unit back, considering it is less than 60 days old. This vacuum is EXPENSIVE, and I expected better support than I received.

Great Time saver
Got the Dolphin E20 after my previous pool cleaner stopped working and based on a recommendation from my neighbour. I had been expensing loads of energy and wasted time dragging the hose around for a couple months to vacuum my pool. This unit was truly the best investment I made since deciding to put in my pool. Cleans the pool thoroughly, including the side walls up to the water’s edge within 3hrs which allows me time to do other things. Easy to clean and stow. My only disappointment is the Bluetooth capabilities and mobile app have limited features, are not the greatest and don’t work very well. You have to be 3 feet max away from the unit with your phone for the app to connect to the Robot and when it does some of the features don’t work.

Dónde puedo reparar mi equipo
Dónde puedo darle mantenimiento a mi dolphin ? Me a funcionado muy bien después de 4 años mantiene limpia mi piscina pero por el desgaste natural del sol en el cable se requiere cambio

Perfect for above ground pools
I didn't find a lot of reviews and only saw a couple of youtube videos of it operating in an above ground pool so I was a little skeptical at first. It works fantastic and climbs the walls to do the waterline perfectly. It has enough suction to climb the wall and come back over on itself without falling off. I was very impressed. Super easy to operate and clean out. I would suggest adding an ultrafine filter to your order for the fine sand and algae that may creep in. The filters are standard for a few different units and made by a couple different manufacturers so you can find one for around $100. Altogether, best thing I've bought for our pool. 18'x33'x52" pool for reference.

Easy setup
Have been using this for a week now and starting at 4 stars (may adjust as time goes on). Setup is as simple as it gets. It definitely picks up a lot of debris (as seen in the filter basket), however, it also misses a bit on the pool floor. I am also noticing it's not scrubbing the water line in the deep end but it also takes a slightly different path each run. I took a timelapse video of its first run.
