OK, I measured more than once, more like 11 ish times. And it fit perfectly!

True to size and has worked out very conveniently for my Pool. Mine was cracked, and this lid has replaced.

Have a home in AZ with a 15 year old pool. Originals were baked and starting to crack. I have no idea who made the skimmers, but these seemed the right fit based on measurements. Close to aggregate concrete color is a nice bonus too. They shipped promptly and seem nice quality, but mine came with these little numbs on the outer edges of disk. I presume they are to make a tight fit? Maybe a tool safe afterthought? Don't know, but I needed to sand them off to get the outer rim back to flat to fit the skimmer. Not the end of the world, but not exactly fun either.

Fits my 35 year old Hayward skimmer after shaving off one area of rim on the lid. It was fitting too tightly. I used a metal file and it worked great to alter the size a small amount.

Was a bit too big, used a file to knock off the tabs, took 5 minutes, then it fit perfectly!

I ordered this deck lid to replace the original that had deteriorated from the sun after many years of use and broke into several pieces. It arrived on time, looked like it did in the pictures and seemed to look and feel very sturdy. I just received it so I don't know yet how durable it is, but it looks like it will last for quite awhile. The main point I was happy with was the fit. It actually fits better than the original did. The original usually had to be turned until it would fit in and then sometimes it was very hard to pull out. This one slips right in, fits snug, yet pulls out easily. I would certainly recommend it.
