is this a tab s7 and a keyboard? or just a keyboard?

It's just the keyboard. And that keyboard is made for the Tab S7+ which is what I have. They make one for the Tab S7 as well.

Is anyone else having problems typing on this keyboard? It barely registers. I feel like I have to pound the keys to make it work.

Mine after 6 moths started to have problems. Somes keys don´t work. its a shame that the service provided from official samsung store is really bad. they dont recognice the warranty and told me that they dont have anything to do. i have to buy a new one. the tablet is very good. i really like. but samsung post service sucks.

How much memory does this s7 have ?

Archangel is wrong, both s7 & s7+ has 6gb on their 128gb storage. you need 256gb or 512gb for 8gb. You can easily look this up
