## Description

The OEMTOOLS 24937 Pneumatic and Manual Fluid Extractor, with a 1.5-gallon (6L) reservoir, is built for fast, mess-free removal of low viscosity fluids. Use shop air or the manual pump to extract engine oil, transmission fluid, coolant, gear oil, or power steering fluid directly through dipstick tubes or fluid openings. This extractor features a one-piece leakproof tank, a 5-foot suction hose, and two dipstick adapters. The automatic oil change pump shut-off valve prevents overfilling, making fluid changes safer and cleaner. With its oversized pumping handle, updated 41-inch dipstick hose, and dual operation modes, this oil pump extractor is ideal for shops, garages, and mobile use. Whether you're performing an oil change, coolant flush, or transmission service, this fluid extractor pump delivers professional results. Designed for automotive tools, boats, and engine oil changes, it's the smart choice for fluid maintenance. Always dispose of used fluids responsibly per local, state, and federal regulations.

Review: Works Great!..... vacuumed 8.8 Liters of engine oil from my Mercedes ML550 in about 5 minutes, with the air compressor hose attached. No muss, no fuss. Best tool ever. Highly recommend. God Bless.
Review: I bought this unit in the larger size because I have a Dodge Cummins diesel that holds 12quarts of oil. I also have used it on my Prius and on my daughters sailboat Perkins motor. It has worked perfectly so far. Now for the best part. Last week I had to do rear brakes on my dodge diesel 3500. I had ordered the brake bleeder additional part. After replacing the pads I decided to do a brake fluid flush. I removed the master cylinder cap and was able to suck all the fluid out of the dual reservoir and refilled it with fresh fluid. Onto the furthest wheel from the master cylinder, turn the bleeder valve on this tool to off pump it down attach the hose to the bleeder, crack the bleeder and open the valve. Suck out enough fluid until fluid runs clear. Tighten down bleeder screw. Refill the master cylinder reservoir and repeat. Oh man, a one man bleeder and a huge tank so I never have to dump fluid between wheels. This thing worked great! I have used those finger pump bleeder suckers and they just suck at sucking and you have to empty them 3 times per wheel. Those finger pumper bleeders cost 2/3 of what this costs! So simple to use and works great. I will never bleed again with those finger pumps. This is so much easier! To bleed a car or truck was the best part of this tool. Sucking oil is just an added benefit. Buy this, it’s a no brainer. P.S. the screw ring on the suction side of the tank seems backwards. The tube flange is actually on top of the screw ring. The ring-screw does not hold the hose onto the tank. After much head scratching I simply thought it was just incorrectly made. I scoured the manual and ,as is typical of offshore made products, the manual was useless. Then, I called them. They said it’s correct and the ring is under the tube flange to help push the tube flange off if it needs changing. Why don’t they add that piece of info in the directions? Really stupid! If I were the design engineer, I would make the flange fit under the ring and be done with it and rewrite the instructions. It would cost a one time set up and problem solved but I’m not the engineer and it is made in China. All this said, it seems well made, despite that glitch, and I will continue to use this very effective tool. Some have said that the suction tube is too short, and it is. It will not reach into the pan on larger engines and the flexible tube behind the hard tube is too short so the tank can’t sit on the ground when pumping the handle on a large vehicle or one that is both tall and a large engine. Like my 4WD 3500 truck. A 3 foot solid tube pickup and a 4 foot longer tank to hard hose would have worked better. I fixed that at Home Depot for about 10 $ but it seems silly that I have to deal with these deficiencies instead of the manufacturer. Are you at OEM listening?! Fix this.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Where is the manual? !!!**
A: here is the manual in PDF form. It is very easy to operate and works great.
Goto https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81j8gbB-MCL.pdf

**Q: After you extract can you reverse the flow to drain the unit? Also will a small pancake compressor work with this? Thx**
A: No, we've never been able to reverse the flow, we've just had to dump it out. We do not know if a pancake compressor will work for sure, but it should. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

**Q: Is the pnuematic option that much better? trying to debate if it's worth the additional $30. tia**
A: I like the pneumatic option. I've found you will lose pressure before completely extracting all oil. With the manual pump unit I owned previously I had to check the extractor every X minutes and give it a few extra pumps to get it sucking again. With the pneumatic option it will take care of that itself. When the pressure drops, your compressor will compensate. No need to constantly monitor the situation.

**Q: does it remove gasoline from oil tank?**
A: Oil is more viscous than gasoline so the extraction should be faster for gasoline. You would have to make sure that the tube is long enough to reach your gasoline tank.
