Every component is 10x better than the old fittings. The clamps are very solid metal with rubber cushioning to grip and protect your desk and the keyboard tray is very solid no sagging etc. Plenty of extra room for keyboard and mouse, and more rest area for my wrist than the original tray. My only slight downer would be that due to it's solidness it takes a little more pull to slide the tray out than others, but the seller contacted me to say you can push the tray down at the same time and this helps. Overall I'm very impressed.

**Q: Will these clamps fit a 2.7inch thick desk? This description says 2.2inches but the manufacturers website says 2.7. Which is correct?**
A: clamps are attached to my 1/2" thick glass desktop.  Clamps are adjustable.  Instructions with this unit are somewhat confusing. One's own creativity would suffice in installation.

**Q: How far back do the mounts attach to the desk? I have sloped edges that go about an inch back, and has caused issues for other mounts in the past.**
A: The mounts go back 2.5 inches.  I would give it 2.75" just to be safe.

**Q: The pics say the total width is 33", but also show that the trays is 26.7 and the clamps are 2.7 each, 26.7+2.7+2.7 = 32.1. Which is the right width?**
A: When I measure mine from the outside of one bracket to the outside of the other bracket it is maybe one 16th of an inch less than 33. The clamp fits inside of another bracket which is maybe 3/8 of an inch on each side. So you really do need the 33 inches. The actual tray part measures 26 3/4 inches but then you have to add the rails on each side and the brackets and the clamps.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Suitable for my needs

I very much needed this type of retractible shelf for my keyboard and mouse which this houses adequately. my only negative I could add, the shelf rolls back and cannot find any adjustment, I'm still trying to figure out if I can make a friction lock for the rails or possibly remachine the screw holes to give a better slope. Nice product but need either an extention lock or a level adjuster hence the downmarks.
