Very portable, lightweight. It's perfect for a child who needs some extra humidity at night, without saturating your windows...put it on a night table right next to your head, add a few drops of lavender or peppermint oil, and it's awesome. If you're looking for a large humidief that will increase the humidity in a room by double digits, this little guy isn't it. However, if you just want a personal humidifier that you can keep by the bed for self care, it's perfect. You can direct the stream just where you like. Super easy care for, and a LOT better priced than the last several humidifiers I bought that had much more complicated weekly maintenance. So if it fails after a year, I haven't broken the bank. So far, so good though, with a month of nightly usage. My children love the colored lights, although it's far too bright for a nightlight. You can turn the light feature off, and that is what we do. BTW I paid full price for this, and did NOT receive it discounted or other any of that other nonsense.
