This was the fifth model i did this year, and it was my first Tamiya product. Now the light bulb goes on... the old Monogram and Revell models are fun, but the recessed panel lines and wonderful mold quality of Tamiya will help take your models to the next level. Parts fit is fantastic (especially after battling through a Revell P-40 before this) and the decals are great. Documentation options seemed good, but i'm not going for museum quality replicas. Having recessed panel lines, i was also able to use washes for subtle differentiation between panels which really was a nice finishing touch.
