It works perfect for my car. It was easy to get to and easy to put on. Just be careful not to lose the retaining clip for the top hose. It's easy to put back in place. Just go in from the driver's side and it slides right in place.

Well, I bought this part because my daughters Buick Encore was leaking coolant from the plastic housing. I installed this new part and it leaked much worse. After looking closely, the leak was coming from the new housing, at the top side, where you push the hose onto from the reservoir. I thought I was screwed, and going to have to buy a genuine AC DELCO part, and do this job all over again. After a closer look, I saw the leak was coming from the top hose at the metal clip(the hose with no clamp that you push on from the top, and has that metal clip to hold the hose in) I removed the metal clip, and pulled out the plastic piece the clip holds in place. Near the bottom of this piece I found an oring that's supposed to squish when the metal clip is inserted, making a tight seal.. I replaced this oring with a slightly thicker oring that i had in my oring kit and my problem was solved, NO LEAKS. So before you even buy this part, make sure the coolant is coming out where that metal clip is. If it is coming out there, and dripping down the housing, making you think the housing it cracked or something? replace the oring. its super easy and super inexpensive. UPDATE : WMPHE read my comment and asked if they can do anything to rectify my situation. I told them how my issue was a simple oring, and they wanted as much info as possible so their people can make sure this doesn't happen again. The were actually incredibly nice and helpful, and in my opinion that what makes a good company a good company. UPDATE #2 it's now March 3.2025 and this part is leaking again. It didn't even last a year...I guess for the price ehhh its kinda ok, but now I have to do the work all over again.

temperature sensor doesn't work and had to get a new hose to fit it to run to my coolant reservoir

It was easy to replace and I had to replace it due to faulty o-rimg in coolant return line connection. It almost caused the motor to overheat! It only lasted 4 months. If I could get my money back I would! I did get a refund and I would just like to say it is the O-Ring at the recovery tank connection that is bad. Maybe they just got a bad batch. This lasted 4 months before O-Ring went out.
