Bosch GBA37V10 Lithium-Ion 1.0 Ah Battery, Includes USB-A to USB-C Cable

I love my green light laser and this makes it all the more useful. I can plug it into my car USB-C on the way to jobs and never be concerned about losing battery power during a job. That said, I dropped my laser measure on the concrete and it was dead when I picked it up. With batteries installed it works fine but this battery pack is what died from the fall. So it seems to be a bit more fragile than the laser measure but I won't hesitate to get another one. 3/11/2023 I just received a new battery and plugged it in a few hours until light showed it fully charged. Installed in my GLM65-25G laser measure and..... Nothing. Back on the charger overnight with no better luck. Won't turn on. I want this to work so bad but I've had nothing but bad luck. I ordered a replacement. I'll keep you posted. That said, I am really surprised at how long the batteries last in my unit, especially with that incredibly bright green light (never buying another red light laser for anything!). But it would be nice to never have to replace batteries again and just plug this into my car charger once in a while. Edit 3/26/23 Replacement works great but did not make contact when I first installed it. I bent the contacts out in the laser unit, re-installed and it's all good. Hopefully it holds up after a few drops.

Battery life is only marginally better than standard AA's, and it doesn't give you much notice before the battery dies. It will go from full bars to empty in a matter of minutes. It also takes way longer to charge than a battery this size should, and is also very difficult to tell whether or not it is charged because the difference in color on the one light that acts as an indicator is difficult to discern. Ultimately my biggest problem with this battery, is that it just isn't durable enough for work use. I dropped my device from about waist level up onto a soft particle board floor, and the battery stopped working all together, and now will not take a charge. This battery was a waste of money.

I am proponent of great tools and a fairly accomplished DIY'er. The contractor installing my new garage doors was using this device and could not say enough good things about it. I had to have one for convenience and speed. I have only bench tested this so I am not claiming to be an expert or great critic for this tool yet but have spent several hours watching Youtube vids's and on line reading. I have the GLM-165-25G model and spent the extra $$ to get this rechargeable battery pack. Bosch is a great name in tools and I am quite certain this battery pack and my new laser measurement will measure up to my expectations (no pun intended here). I will edit my response in a couple of months after I have given this a thorough workout but so far it is holding a full charge for weeks now.

Better than switching out batteries. Plug it in overnight. Ready for several days of use in the field.

Huge upgrade vs batteries. Works much much better in the cold at night when I use it the most.

Initial charge didn't hold very well, but take in to the consideration cold weather in December. Found battery at about 50% after full initial charge and not being in use for two weeks.

I don't know why Bosch doesn't make this come with the laser. No point in NOT buying this. regular batteries will wear out too fast. This battery makes the laser do more measurements and is rechargeable.

Exactly what we needed.

Not really much to review, is a direct fit on Bosch's Blaze laser where the Double A's would normally go. Charges relatively quickly and seems to last a long time so far has been working well.

This product worked great for my first couple work outings that I used it on. It was getting low so I decided to charge it. Waited for the green LED and thought I was good to go. Went outside to work on my deck, pushed the power button and nothing. Tried once more and nothing. Decided to take the lithium-ion out and try the batteries that came with the unit - success! Thought maybe it wasn't seated correctly so I reinserted the lithium battery and again... nothing happened! Then I thought maybe it wasn't charged so I recharged the unit only to have the same thing happen again. Very disappointed!
