Greenlights: Your Journal, Your Journey

I just love Matthew McConaughey‘s words. He’s an amazing person, he’s very easy to listen to of course easy on the eyes, but really the things he says with the intention, the excitement, just his general approach in how he says what he has to say….I’m all ears! His books, journals are no different. I love his writing style, literally forming his book from little hand notes here $there. I just love the informality of it all, that’s the type of reader I am….I’m a left brain learner so naturally I’d like to listen or watch him more but after I’ve heard a few interviews about “Green Lights” I had to get the book & this journal so I could write my new 2026 positive thinking, solutions, approaches down - we all need a little more horsepower….That’s for sure. 😉

It’s a well made journal filled with lots of inspiration to challenge your thoughts, especially for a new journalist. Lots of people don’t like to write so this gives you some guidance and direction. It’s not just a blank bound empty book like most out there..,

Great book

Sometimes journals that have prompts are not helpful and get in the way of writing. Matthew McConaughey's prompts are thoughtful and kind; not pushy at all. He really means what he says in the promotional video about this journal-- that he's only riding shotgun on our journeys. Encouraging but not demanding with his prompts. I wasn't sure I'd like a journal in a more narrow, horizontal shape (rather than a more portait, notebook shape) but I really like it!

What a beautiful idea and journal! Look forward to his upcoming poetry book!

I'm extremely disappointed that this is NOT the motivational book by Matthew McConaughey but only the journal workbook. I was going to give it to my brother who is moving today and it arrived timely, yesterday, as shipped, but it is NOT the book. I even listened to a sample of the audio before I ordered it and nothing led me to think it was the journal instead of the actual Greenlight book. He would read the book but I'm not sure he will ever listen to the audible. This is the Journal NOT the book. If it was not that I appreciate and approve of Matthew McConaughey and his motivational Roadtrip course I would give this a one star for the seller not giving the correct information with the product. Everyone should listen Matthew McConaughey's Roadtrip encouraging speach and read his Greenlight book. Good quality journal just not the book I thought I was ordering.

Love this book. I LOVE THIS JOURNAL. I had to get one for my daughter too. Each page is so thought provoking and inspiring. Quick easy use. Very good quality. Half of what chain bookstores sell same book for. Fast delivery. Great price.

If you can't think outside the box, you might have trouble with the prompts in the journal. This is a perfect journal for INFJ personality types (I am and 3 of my friends are too and we all love it) it's good for anyone though. I learned somethings that I would've never known if not for this journal

The notebook is beautiful and looks very stylish with its leather cover and elegant design. The paper quality is excellent, making it a pleasure to write on. But what I love most about this journal notebook is that it's not just a blank notebook. It includes prompts and spaces to write about your day, your thoughts, and your goals. This feature makes it easy to use and also motivates me to write in it every day. The journal prompts and writing spaces are thoughtful and well-organized. It's easy to focus on one area of my life or thoughts and write about them in more depth. I've found this to be a great way to reflect on my day, set goals for myself, and even work through my emotions and feelings.

The journal was a nice compliment to the book but the prompts don't match my writing style so I find it hard to use
