We bought this collapsible LED camping lantern for a recent camping trip, and it was such a great addition to our setup! I love that it is compact and easy to pack away when not in use. When you open it up, it provides a surprising amount of light for its size, which is exactly what you need when camping at night or trying to find things around your campsite. The collapsible design makes it very convenient for storing in our camping bins without taking up much space. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and perfect for keeping around for camping trips, emergencies, power outages, or even just extra lighting around the house. We really appreciated having this during our trip, and I love having a reliable light source that doesn’t take up much room in our camping gear. I always rely on Amazon reviews to guide my purchases, so I wanted to share how impressed we were with these XTAUTO Collapsible Portable LED Camping Lanterns. We purchased these for a big family backyard camping weekend over this past 4th of July, and they exceeded all of our expectations.We live on a large property, and these lanterns were absolutely perfect for family members to safely carry and use while walking around the dark acreage at night. They are incredibly lightweight, making them easy for everyone to hold—not to mention they also work beautifully as a standard flashlight!Where this lantern truly shined, though, was inside our tent. We used it while setting up the interior of our massive Outsunny 10-person tent and getting our portable AC unit positioned. Just one single XTAUTO lantern completely illuminated the entire interior of that huge tent! The bright, even light made night setup incredibly easy.The fact that they are collapsible, waterproof, solar-powered, and double as a flashlight makes them the ultimate utility light. You will not be disappointed with these. Works great. Very bright on full charge. Lasts all night. Took camping. Was able to light up each tent so could find in the night. Easy to hang or set on ground.has a flash light setting needed to find bathroom in twighlight hours. Easy to hold. No dimming switch but choice of how much light provided by Easy slide casing on unit. Can come apart when dropped from car hatchback height. Snaps back into place and still works!

I bought these rechargeable lamps for my family in Cuba, and they have been very helpful during power outages. They are easy to use, provide good light, and recharge easily. I gave them 4 stars because I wish the battery lasted a little longer, but overall, they are a good product and worth buying.

The perfect lantern for power outages, or when your utility company asks you to save energy for a few hours at peak periods, camping, and more. If you've ever relied on candles or old-fashioned oil lamps during extended power outages, you know how unpleasant the air can get -- kerosine, cheap candle wax, or heavily scented candles can make the air feel and smell heavy over extended use time. And consider the risks of flames. Set those concerns aside and add LED camping lanterns from Xtauto to your survival/camping gear. They ARE lightweight, easily charge by USB, and the charge lasts an incredibly long time. Whether used as a flashlight or lantern, the light is bright enough to easily read by, set up gear, light a dark area for safe walking, etc. The one thing I haven't needed to do (yet) is to try using the solar recharge system. I bought a 4-pack of lanterns to use in a number of areas in the house during emergencies. Again, it is amazing how long these lanterns hold a charge -- MONTHS (when fully charged and stored), and HOURS when in use. No need to fumble with small or awkward on/off switches, either -- just adjust the carry handles to the Up position and pull on the body to activate the lantern. Or, press the button on the side of the base and the flashlight is on! Easy to charge, easy to use, powerful light, a great find!

These are extremely bright, they have the option to be a flashlight as well! Their battery life is great 👍 so easy to use!

They got five stars for being four for 20 bucks during prime deal days. Thank you five dollars a pieces an excellent deal for these don't get those other ones with the strip of LED lights. They're too bright. This has one nice LED behind a frosted lens and a bonus one at the bottom but now let's get to the review how to fix the problem if you're caught in a thunderstorm with this little Latern lamp OK, you're gonna wanna buy a couple of tubes of gorilla silicone RTV you get two tubes here at Amazon. It's Crystal clear first thing you do is pop off the bottom of the lantern and Schmear about a 1 to 2/8 bead around the middle of that thing you're gonna glue it on it'll never need to come off again. If you don't glue it on it's gonna fill up with water like a bucket. You'll also notice under there is a little lens just flopping around you can put a couple dabs of the silicone to hold it in place or just balance it it doesn't matter you don't have to put silicone on the clear lens on the bottom water does not come out of the Earth. It comes down from the firmament. OK then the next thing you're gonna wanna do is take a piece of blue tape that you use for painting and cut a nice little rectangle shape and tape that over the two USB ports. Those will never be used because it's solar. You could also fill those up with the R TV but the tape allows you to recharge them quickly if you want to access the USB Next you're going to want to pull the lantern open to gain access and observe the single LED with the frosted lens hiding inside pull your lantern four or 5 inches to the fully erect position now lay a nice bead of cock. The gorilla silicone clear that you just purchased Put a nice one to 2/8 inch speed all the way around the bottom and take your finger and smear that in there so it stays in there that's the first water intrusion spot from heavy rain next you're gonna want to turn your lamp upside down and carefully do another bead on the upside down portion of the lens. Yes, water does not shoot out of the earth you are correct, but it could come out sideways so we're gonna seal this up and then I believe you have completed your waterproofing of your little LED lantern lamps they are ready for Trent downpours hurricanes. They're great forgiving as gifts. Just give them one at a time you don't need to give you the whole four pack to somebody keep a couple for yourself. You're gonna see how cute they are. they're wonderful, but they're water Logged if you let them outside a little bit about me when I was in the military in Hawaii I bought a four-wheel-drive truck and we take it to the beach. He was not fast enough so I put extra batteries inside him and sealed him up with the gorilla glue sealant The stuff that's in your wagon right now so you can seal up these little lanterns then the four-wheel-drive truck could go head on into a wave get knocked over, and if I was lucky enough that he rolled on top of his wheels when he was done being tumbled around in the wave, the silicone glue did not have any water, salt intrusion, and that is the moral of the story. have a great day. PS it has a little porthole button like on a ship. It's a push button like a rocker switch. Go ahead and fill that up with the ceiling too when the ceiling is dry it'll be like a little crystal clear waterproof hat on top of the button and you will still press. I will give a video right now to show you how wonderful my lamp is.

These lights are don’t feel real sturdy and feel kinda cheap BUT they do give off a good bit of light and work as intended. They do have a major CON though. There is no battery level indicator. We will have no idea when the batteries are about to drain and need recharging. As I have not had a chance to use them in an emergency yet I don’t know how long they last before they drain or how long it takes to charge via solar. Another con is for everyday use like walking the dog or whatever it doesn’t fit well in your hand as a flashlight. It’s bulky for that with no side handle to hold it as a flashlight. But as a lantern for camping or emergencies it will do. I think I will keep these as I got them on sale and for the price I paid they are decent. I will keep looking for a solar rechargeable flashlight that will work for everyday use as a flashlight and not just a lantern. You can never be too prepared to have too may light sources.
