Instructions say to use water, but in my experience that only partially worked. Another negative would be that they are a very bright white in the package, but once exposed to air (and water to inflate) they start to yellow in short order. Like 1 week!!! It’s not terrible, but I opened the 2 packages a week or two apart from each other and sitting side by side it’s noticeable. As long as they don’t continue to yellow, this won’t be a huge deal, but I noticed it yellowing within the first week. In the photo you can see the yellowing on the left, and how after a few weeks outside the vacuum bag, and after wetting with water, how they just don’t fully retain their shape.
