Ceilings however can sometimes use a lighter weight 10mm thick board, and Bullfix Fixings can't be used on less than 12.5mm board. To find the thickness of plasterboard just drill a small hole, bend paperclip into small hook, insert into hole so it hooks the back of the board and then measure it. They lock into place with a screw(supplied in the kit).3) they're relatively cheap and very effective.I've used them on seven ceiling fans/lights, 3 bathroom mirrors and even to hold cupboards to walls..
