Daylight bulbs are great for helping banish the winter blues and seasonal affective disorder, which affects pretty much everyone. Compared to a Soraa 95 CRI 5000K professional LED bulb (which costs a lot more), the light is moderately more sickly green/blue, but otherwise is serviceable, with better color balance compared to older daylight led models. One thing to note is that the 100 watt equivalent bulbs are listed as "only" having a 10 year lifespan (3 hours a day average) = 10,950 hours. If you run it 9 hours a day, it will only last 3 years until it's 70% as bright as new. That's around half the lifespan of Soraa bulbs and other higher priced options. If you're putting this in a hard-to-reach spot that is frequently used, I'd recommend a bulb with a heavier metal heatsink and longer advertised life.

I just bought a new house, and every single bulb on the property was of the old filament style. I ordered a 4 pack of the 100w equivalent daylight bulbs to get a feel for the quality and the light output before investing a considerable sum of money to replace all of the bulbs. I placed a couple inside, and a couple in outside light fixtures. I am very pleased with the light output. It is the almost pure white light that I was looking for. The lights outside had a far higher quality of light output than the bulbs they replaced. To properly torture test them, I placed one of these bulbs in a fixture outside that had killed a Wal-Mart LED bulb during its first rain. The walmart bulb was outdoor rated and this bulb is not. So far we have had a good solid week of heavy rain and that bulb is holding up with no signs of water intrusion. This bulb is not rated for that kind of location, but it is holding up like a champ. The first pack of bulbs arrived promptly; I have since ordered the larger packs and shipping seems to be problematic with those purchases. I also ordered the 60 watt equivalent version of this bulb and have the same satisfactory results. Regardless, I will be buying more of these as the need arises.

I'm rapidly making the switch to LED bulbs and my electricity bill is starting to go down because of it. Some people see the price of this eight pack and think that's way too much money for light bulbs. Well, incandescents may be cheaper but, 1) they burn out way faster than LEDs, 2) they use a whole lot more electricity, and 3) the government is not going to allow them anymore (at least in the U.S.) These bulbs do use 85% less electricity (as advertised); my electric bill is proof of that. They are also super bright. I've replaced my kitchen lights and my living room can lights with these and they really have lit up the room. I was buying 100W equivalent LEDs from the big box stores at $10 a piece but, they hardly ever carry them. When I was having trouble finding some, I decided to go online to get them. This eight pack is great. I'll buy these again when some of my fluorescent bulbs burn out (which they do way too often). I recommend these bulbs to anyone who wants a bright room and wants to save money on their electric bill

WOW! Talk about having some light; this is like taking my work benches outside in the direct sunlight. This was my first encounter with LED lights, as my last go around was the TOTAL FAILURE Compact fluorescents that everyone got talked into a few years back. As it turned out, they were much more expensive than the incandescent bulbs, did not put out as much light, and did not last any longer; WHAT A BUST. These babies are a different ball of wax. I replaced four 60 watt incandescents above some of my workbenchs, and was actually able to remove a fifth incandescent, as the A19 1500 lumen in the same area put out MORE than enough light to make up for it's loss. Be warned, these babies are BRIGHT! I personally could not see installing one of these in the house, but each to his/her own. This is by far the best price I have found on this particular 8 pack (under 4 bucks each). I ordered another set just before writing this review. If you want a really bright light, this is it.

I have five LED grow lights which contain 268 light emitting diodes per fixture which have been running for 12 hours a day for nearly a decade now without ever having any issues whatsoever, whereas these bulbs with a single light emitting diode and drastically reduced usage invariably stop functioning at around 6-8 months. Since this short lifespan does not appear to be due to any inherent limitation in LED technology, it would seem that the most likely explanation for this great disparity is simply that these bulbs are designed to fail.

Me gustaría recibir los 6 focos que faltan, espero que Amazon en su infinita sabiduría, recapacite y me envíe el producto completo. Impecable, raudo, infalible el servicio de Amazon ha tenido a bien enviarme 2 maravillosos focos, del pack de 8 que pagué.. en una oferta relámpago. Estoy que no quepo en mi de contento, me cuesta contener las lágrimas al contemplar como lucen esos 2 maravillosos focos de luz de mediodía mediterráneo con matices dorados, de cuerpo alegre y acentos marinos, que maridan a la perfección con los más de 300 pesos que he pagado por cada uno. Gracias a Amazon, ahora soy más consciente del momento presente y atesoro cada instante de luz artificial como algo fugaz y valioso. Gracias Amazon por no permitirme publicar opiniones oprobiosas, ponzoñosas.., estaba cegado por la ira y el descontento. Gracias a Amazon ahora he vuelto a la senda del buen consumidor, feliz de aceptar que Amazon sabe siempre lo que me conviene. Nunca más volveré a reclamar que no se me envía el producto completo por el que he pagado.

Todo estaba en orden hasta que abrí una de las cajas con un par de focos y uno de ellos venía defectuoso, no funcionó. Se escuchaba “suelto” el interior. El empaque no venía con suficiente protección para ser focos. Es un producto frágil. Me han mandado pasta de dientes con bolsas de aire pero los focos no. Mal en eso. Decidí no devolver el producto por un solo foco, pero si debería de haber alguna compensación, pienso yo.

Son focos que se comparan en iluminación a un foco de 100 Watts, y en verdad brillan bastante. Agradezco que existan marcas que son sinceras con sus mediciones, he comprado focos que dicen ser equivalentes a uno de 150 Watts y que ni se hacercan. Son de bajo consumo y de un matiz más bien cálido.

Excelente, la calidad de la luz, es exactamente los 5000k El cual es Blanco Neutro, no Celeste 6000k que otras marcas venden como 4800-5300kelvins. El factor potencia es .97 por lo cual se aprovecha el 97% de la luz que consume el bulbo, así mismo por los 12.5Watts que consume los 1500 lumnes (los cuales no tengo forma de validarlo si es lo que brinda) la fuerza de iluminación se me hace equivalente a otras marcas en 15watts.

Tienen un buen precio y la iluminación es maravillosa
