I have more sets that I paid 4 times the price, I am impressed with the price and the quality. I bought the first set for my upstairs projects first, impressed I bought two more sets, one for my shop downstairs shop and one to give to a close friend.

I use my expensive mandoline a lot (like hundreds of pounds of heavy root veggies), despite a healthy fear of its blade...which has accumulated a fair number of visible nicks and gotten dulled over the years. I finally gave in and started researching what to do about it, hoping that I wouldn't need to purchase a whole new one...I decided to give these a try, even though I was a little nervous about using them myself to sharpen the blade...and they worked great. It was easy and took only minutes to remove four or five major blade nicks with the middle file that were interfering with my ability to make my absolutely perfect scalloped potatoes. Then i finished sharpening the rest of the blade with the finest grit. Just a quick wash and my mandoline was ready to go, without cutting myself. It was easier to use than a traditional knife sharpener and useful in more situations. (I couldn't figure out how to use a traditional knife sharpener on my mandoline because I couldn't / didn't want to completely remove the blade.) The filing surface was well-adhered to the plastic base. I wish I didn't need to buy two sets given my limited need, although the price wasn't completely terrible, given the alternative was replacing my 60-70 dollar mandoline.

Useful to touch up, to very sharp, blades already in fairly good shape. Thin, allows me to touch up dual-blades, such as on my great Honda mower, without having to remove the blades. Takes only a few seconds per blade to make them knife sharp, which makes for very even mow. Diamond surfaces wear off fast. Recommend very light to no pressure drawing across the blade. Let the diamonds do the work. If you apply pressure the diamond surfaces will be gone in a couple uses. I've bought-again several times, as I like being able to get in between the dual blades without taking them off the mower, and I like even cuts that sharp blades make.

These are the best hand held sharpeners I have used in a very long time! I worked in construction for decades and used something similar to these but they have since gone missing. Nothing I know of more dangerous than a dull knife. Excellent!

I got these to sharpen my Forstner bits, but they work with other things too. I can give chisels a quick touch up to keep them cutting cleanly, and actually use them on my lathe tools to keep an edge between grinding. I mark the edge with a Sharpie, then use the hones to eat away the marks and the tools are easier to use again. It only takes a few minutes and I don't have to grind as often.
