How is this cover against cat claws? that’s all i really need to know and why i’m here. please help!

It is pretty stretchy and medium-thin weight. My cats walk across the headboard regularly, and occasionally side crawl on it when they’re spazzing out. They do not “scratch” it like a post though. So far it’s been fine. No pulls or holes. It will not necessarily “protect” the headboard underneath as it’s more like a slightly thicker, stretchy tshirt cover. Things can still poke through. However that stretch also keeps the nail pokes at bay, by going right back to normal shape. If your cats don’t sharpen their claws, then you’ll be fine with them walking all over it. Lol

My headboard is not rectangle it has a little arch to it , will it work?

Thanks for your interest in our product. It can be used on the headboard with a little arch, but not fitted as well as rectangle one.

My headboard is only 20" in height - will this still work out?

The cover is full size, but you may be able to make it work
