Easy install, best value upgrade for my 2007 pathfinder
Ran a dual line system to keep pressures identical. No more sag. Better handling in normal and loaded comditions. I stay perfectly level towing. Would recommend to every r51 pathfinder owner.

Once I did that everything is fine and I don't worry about the air hoses wearing ...
I have owned these for 2 years. They are on a 2012 Nissan Pathfinder. I kept each air spring independent of the other (meaning I ran an air hose from each bag to the back of the truck to it's own Schrader valve. If you use the T included air can shift from one air spring to the other as the load shifts. It helped stiffen the ride and helps with any weight carried in the truck. When I ran the hoses I put them in 1/4" corrugated conduit and then routed them. Be aware that the conduit wants to twist so over time it may twist the hose inside and want to kink it. After time it will confirm. I did have to deflate one of the airbags and turn in within the coil spring to alleviate a kink that had developed. Once I did that everything is fine and I don't worry about the air hoses wearing through somewhere. The install was simple. Put the hoses on the bags before inserting into the coil spring. There are small clamps that secure the hose on the bag. Installing and then trying to assure you have the hose on properly after installing in the coil would be a pain in the derriere. A simple install maybe takes 30 minutes. I'm a type A personality and like everything perfect so I spent extra time protecting hoses, routing hoses, making a custom bracket for the Schrader valves, etc. I check the pressure occasionally and there are never any leaks. Temperature changes can effect the pressure. The bags show no wear from rubbing on the coils. Follow the advice of the directions and online youtube video instruction from Air Lift. I run anywhere from 15 to 25 lbs in them.

Air Lift 1000 Air Suspension Kit
This is an awesome product. Took me 90min to install. Best thing I could have done. Took a 4500km (2796mi) trip the day after installing the product, pulling a 1.5 ton off road caravan with a 2.5 diesel Pathfinder. No more sagging, better on road and off road stability.

Pathy rides a lot better and the install only took me two hours
While Air Lift will say they do not make the product for the 2008 Nissan Pathfinder 4x2, I believe this is a misconception on their part. After talking to their customer service they said that the 4x2's have leaf springs as opposed to coil springs. So, after trying to order on Amazon and getting the "part does not fit your car" message, I decided to check out the Nissan Pathfinder coil springs for the 4x4s vs the 4x2. According to the Nissan parts website, they use exactly the same coil spring. With that information, I ordered the product regardless of what Amazon told me. Just installed them today without any issues. Pathy rides a lot better and the install only took me two hours. The only hole I had to drill was to mount the air valve. Easy job with great results.
