Truly brilliant product. Essential camping kit, best household sponge ever used.
I bought my first one of these sponges about 6 years years ago for a camping trip for my son. The list they were told to bring including washing up cloths and dishes. They ended up using paper plates. But we did use it for family camping trips. The first sponge survived a number of years as a camping sponge. It eventually ended up used in the house, and finally got thrown out as rather slimy and worn after having gone through the washing machine countless times. But since then I have always had a camping and a household e sponge. I like to have a relatively new one for camping. My son does ultralight, meaning you don't pack any extra weight. This also means no nonstick cookware. It's generally things like mess tins or aluminium. Camping stoves, or open flames do not cook as evenly as modern induction cookers. You also don't have things like sinks, washing up liquid or other conveniences. You might be able to heat some water in one of the pots, to loosen grease, but it's mostly cold water and elbow grease. This is meant to be able to remove over 99% of bacteria with just scrubbing. I do find the scrubbing surface is nit as good after repeated use and cycles through the washing machine, so I would definitely not get 100 uses from a sponge for camping. It is quite often a new sponge taken on camping trips, and if not it's a very close to new one. But these really do get everything clean with only water and I have never found anything else that works so well. After a few camping trips, they become household sponges, I am extremely sensitive to chemicals and really love being able to use just water. If extra disinfecting is needed, boiling water works. If the sponges are rinsed and dried properly, I expect at least a year of household use out of them. An occasional soak in boiling water keeps bacteria from growing. If thye get very dirty, I do put them in the washing machine. I have never had one tear or burst. Amazon says I have only bought these twice, but that must just refer to the ones with these packaging.mi have just bought two more of these. As the scrubb8ng surfaces begins to wear down, they get used for more difficult jobs and occasionally get thrown away because let someone use wone with motor oil, or one gets lost on a camping trip. I did have one get such a terrible slime I didn't even want to wash it, but binned it, but I have never had one wear out. When you consider the fact that they require less chemical cleaners, or none, they really are an excellent purchase , both for economy and ecology. I consider them absolutely essential camping gear as well. This is without doubt the best sponge I have ever used.

Quality product
These were replacement pads as I have had the original ones for a long time, and the scouring side was worn away (the only problem with them, but they WERE old!). They work well, and I like being able to throw them in a hot wash once a week. Despite months (years?) of wringing they have retained their shape. As well as washing dishes, when wrung out they do a good job of drying surfaces. The photos show old v new.

A very good pad.
When the pad arrived it was very stiff, and I could tell needed softening up. In the pack there is just one pad for the current price at review £2.99 or save another 5% on subscribe and sell then the price will be £2.84. which is what I do. When the pad was first day brand new, to wipe down my kitchen, ie hob top, work tops and tiles, the pad left a lot of wet moisture behind, even after wringing out, left lines. I wasn’t sure at that point if this was going to hold up against my original ones. After a while worked well. To clean saucepans, especially stuck on dirt, this sponge do work very well. The material is Polyester There is a harder texture for scrubbing, the other side softer. I always prolong the sponge by putting in the washing machine just to remove bacteria and food particles. I wash on quick wash 40 programme. Promised is one sponge pad should last at least to 100 washes or one year. This is hard to determine and I am certainly not going to count and see if this is correct. I really love these types of sponge pads, seem a lot stronger. Really good for cleaning the oven. I would say you need two of these pad eventually, as I use different pads on my main plates and utensils, one just for saucepans only. Must be rinsed through with hot or boiled water and hang them to dry by the label. I thought I would try one first before buying more. A great asset to use around the home. ⭐️Thank you to the seller ⭐️I hope my review helps you

Good for nonstick coatings
Good quality and well designed product. Perfect for anything coated as it won’t scratch, but still has some abrasive properties on the shiny side to allow it to tackle the dirt. The yellow side is very absorbent, great for mopping up spills. It maintains its shape nicely and seems very durable compared to cheaper sponges I have used

Works well but doesn’t last
Works as expected. Scrubbing side good. See the other photos for this product. It might last 20 normal washes but no where near 100. Not a sustainable product. We cancelled our subscription and found another product that’s bigger and lasting longer.

Great reusable sponges
I love these sponges. Second time I've purchased these as they are such good quality and effectively clean my dishes. They wash in the washing machine really well (no shrinkage which I've had with other makes) really easy to use.
