Has anyone used it to sieve soil?

The metal is weak and I do not recommend for soil sifting. I screwed edges to 2x4s for a home made sifter. The metal immediately broke away as I put slight pressure on screen. I redid the screws and attempted to reattach the edges to no avail. Same frustration of the screen basically falling apart for this type of use. Its a NO!
