TempPro TP50 Digital Hygrometer Indoor Thermometer Room Thermometer and Humidity Gauge with Temperature Humidity Monitor(Previously ThermoPro)

I am using two TP50s to monitor temp and humidity in a 40 foot shipping container. They are very simple and fast to install: The meters have a magnet on the back that allows them to be mounted to the sides of the container without any modifications to the container nor any marring to the surface paint (the backs of the units are smooth plastic). The TP50s are simple to operate: put in batteries, use the magnet to stick to a surface, and the current temperature and humidity and the all-time high and low temperature and humidity (extremes) can be viewed on the front display. (There is also a face representing a "comfort level"). The all-time high and low temperature and humidity are retained until the units memory is cleared by depressing and holding a button on the back or removing the batteries. The TP50s that I ordered are very minimalistic. No connectivity. They have no remote monitoring capability. No long-term trending. No Apps. They are just simple temperature and humidity meters that display current values and track all-time high and lows. Even though the TP50s are simple, both units that I purchased gave similar readings for both temperature and humidity to our more expensive weather station. The readings were not exactly the same but within 1 degree on temperature and 1% on humidity. After several weeks of use in the containers, both units (which were initially placed next to each other), have tracked within 1 degree of temperature and 1% of humidity to each other with temperature swings from 11 degrees to 99 degrees and humidity swings from 11% to 54%. As long as they continue to function for a reasonable period of time, they work for my application (tracking the temperature and humidity at both inside ends of a 40 foot shipping container) and I am happy with the purchase.

Lots of humidity in our basement due to heavy rains seeping into the basement. Doing everything we can to get on top of it and I thought this digital hygrometer would be helpful to let us know how we’re doing. I vote a big yes for it works very well! I purchased the TempPro TP50 Digital Hygrometer after my incubator stopped displaying temperature and humidity readings, and it has been working perfectly as a replacement monitor. Overall, the TempPro TP50 Digital Hygrometer has been an excellent backup solution after my incubator’s built in display failed. It is accurate, easy to use, and dependable. I would highly recommend it to anyone needing a reliable temperature and humidity monitor, especially for incubating eggs.

I bought this set for my new home we been having constant humidity issues and trying to see where the issues are. Overall for the price they are good I like that they are small in size and the screen has the large output so you can see from a distance. I like that it stores the highs and lows of Temp and Humidity to look at. The overall accuracy is within reason I'd say I have 2 photos attached one of the ThermoPro and one of my Home Weather System a Davis Vantage Vue (very accurate) As you can you see it's off but not by too much I'd overall like to see these have a dim light that you can tap or push in the middle of the night it's hard to see so I need to flash my phone on it. Overall I'll be keeping them just need to understand it's within reason 1-2deg and 1-2% of the real readouts

Use to check temperature in basement. Works well enough

These were easy to set-up, and are easy to read. I temp gun my enclosure every morning/night and this helps put my mind at ease for validating temps.

Have used these inside and out. They dont break or have any issues. Have 1 in a shipping container that stays around 120 all summer long Inside. Another stays in an animal stall that without heat gets down to single digits. Works for years. Battery life is great. Temp is accurate to thermostats in several buildings.

Still use this to this day. Easy to use, reads accurately, changes almost instantly. I use it in my daughter’s room along with a humidifier in the winter to help with the dryness and coughing when she’s sick.

Brilliant piece of kit. Does exactly what it says, measures temp and humidity with easy to read display, easily adjustable for temp and recording high and low of humidity. Had to get instructions online but no great deal. Price and delivery excellent.

A very nice and beautiful product. As for accuracy I kept it outside my house and compared to the values of local reported weather. Temperature was almost completely accurate. Even humidity it reported was very close. It clocked 73% when weather reports said 80%. I use this instrument to decide when to switch on the humidifier at my home.

I've now purchased a couple of these and use them in my greenhouses to monitor conditions for my plants. They’ve been working great! One of the features I appreciate most is the max/min recording for temperature and humidity—it gives me a clear picture of the extremes my plants are exposed to, which is incredibly useful for maintaining a stable environment. The design is also quite versatile. You can stand it up, stick it on a metal surface with the built-in magnet, or mount it on a wall, which makes placement super flexible depending on your setup. Resetting the memory and switching between Celsius and Fahrenheit is very straightforward, which is a nice touch for ease of use. Overall, it's a simple, effective, and affordable tool for anyone needing to keep an eye on climate conditions. Highly recommended for greenhouse enthusiasts or indoor gardeners!

Great with a miss. It would be better to have a reset button but this is great anyway
