Worked perfectly for me, just make sure you buy the right mic for the right model. I see allot of reviews who accidentally bought the wrong mic for the wrong model. My Razer sharks have been dormant for a couple years because my mic stopped working. I recently came across them while cleaning up the closet and wanted to test them out again because the quality was good on these headphones. Alas the mic still didn't work no matter how much I fiddled with it. Came upon this replacement option for the mic and ordered it in hopes that it would fix the issue, and it did!

Was recommended by reddit to purchase this microphone to replace the old mic after years of service. The replacement is not fitted for the mic slot well, meaning that it will spin in the aux port and not support its own weight. Even if I bothered to tape it on, my computer only picked up input if I put TONS of pressure on it in in its port, moreso than from it just being "a little loose". It is NOT designed right for the headset it claims to be used for. Do not waste your money nor time on this product.

This is my second time purchasing this particular microphone product. My initial order was prompted by the malfunction of the mic on my Razer Black Shark V2 headset, and I was pleased to find this two-pack available at a reasonable price. However, after a month or two of use, I noticed that one of the microphones began to lose its sound quality and needed to be positioned just right to work properly. Frustrated, I decided to discard that one and replace it. When I received the second microphone from the same kit, I was hopeful that it would provide better durability. Unfortunately, I encountered the same issue again, leading me to question the longevity of this product. While I appreciate the affordability and the convenience of purchasing in bulk, I find myself tired of having to replace my microphone so frequently. Overall, it's an average product. If it could last a bit longer without issues, I would certainly rate it four stars instead of three. But for now, I find myself caught between liking the price and the inconvenience of replacement.

Pros: -It is longer than factory mic -It stays where I put it better than factory mic (factory mic is ~4 mos old) -Fits well into the 2023 version headset. It has the notch to orient the connection. It does not spin in the jack. Cons -Friends report that sound quality is slightly diminished, but they did not think it was substantial -There is a hum on the microphone when I put my hand or shoulder near the stem of the mic, or if I plug it into USB power while using. Sounds like a ground loop. I'm surprised the manufacturer hasn't fixed this. That being said, the hum is only present in those conditions, which are uncommon. When weighing the pros and cons I decided I preferred this replacement mic over my factory mic. I'll keep the factory mic as a backup. The factory mic kept drooping and catching on my shirt which was driving me crazy. Hopefully this one retains its rigidity after a few months.

Lost the original pop filter to my headset earlier this week and decided I needed a new one along with an extra microphone just in case. The pop filters they include are smaller than the original, same quality, but they fit more snug so it doesn't fall off as easily. I tested the microphones, and the quality is honestly the same as the original. I didn't notice a difference in how I sound and plus it fit perfectly into my headphones without any of the issues I saw listed on other products. A lot of negative reviews I saw on this product alone are from those who own the newer 2023 version of the Blackshark V2 Pro, so please make sure you know what version you have before purchasing. This product is practically identical to the OEM in terms of design and functionality, so its perfect if you have the (2020) Blackshark V2 Pro like I do.

It really is a replacement with very good mic quality. fit the razer blackshark v2 pro (2023 edition) like a glove. Sounds better than the last replacement I got.

been using for a couple month, seen some reviews saying it broke in a week so i was worried it would do the same but its been fine. They may have thought it broke though cause when you disconnect the mic you gotta make sure when you reconnect it you push the mic in hard enough to feel/hear a subtle click then it'll work. Year long update: still working great

fits fine, audio is a worse than the original not terrible though would be fine with that if it didn't have an extremely annoying constant buzzing noise
