I bulb sproted out of 10.
I have been looking for this plant and couldn't find in my local nurseries. I decided to buy the bulbs and grow them myself. The package I received are bulbs in a small plastic box, I have no complaints about how it was packaged. It had no instructions. When I googled how to plant and saw pictures, the blubs were white. The ones I all had mud on them. I didn't mind it but only one of the was kind of clear. I am thinking that is the only bulb that sproted. I bought them in April and couple of weeks ago I dug up the rest of the pot to see if any of the blubs are sprouting , I think they all rotted and decomposed. Don't buy these. I am honestly disappointed. These are gorgeous plants, I wish I got the worth of what I paid for.

What a Nice Surprise
I was worried about ordering these bulbs after reading the reviews but the price was right and I couldn't find any other reasonably priced ones anywhere. They arrived promptly and the bulbs were packed in a little bag that looked like it had been vacuum sealed. Sure enough, some bulbs were moldy looking and a couple had roots already. I figured I had wasted my money, threw the bag on a counter and walked away. A couple of weeks later I ran across them again and decided "what have I got to lose?" So I divided up the ones that looked decent and the ones that didn't. Then I planted them in separate small wick watering pots since they weren't going to grow anyway and stuck them outside in our Texas heat. About a week later I had little purple shamrocks! They got too big for their little pots so I transplanted them to my garden and realized every bulb had grown. I now have a gorgeous stand of purple shamrocks growing like crazy!! I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

not a single plant has sprouted
after almost a month, not a single plant has sprouted! and of course, they want me to return the unsprouted bulbs for a refund or replacement, yet after almost a month in the ground, they have rotted to nothing. not so lucky. the bulbs were very tiny and looked like dirt. it's not the money so much as all the wasted time, and I bought a planter and dirt too...

Change my 1 star review
Yes, the package looked like rotten dirt and I can't believe I paid for this. I gave it a one Star review. BUT it is amazing how tough this plant is. After I abandoned it in the yard and ignored it. It started to grow no matter what I throw at it. I bought it back indoor during the winter and it bloomed like crazy.

Ok, an odd review of service over product
I ordered these bulbs in Febuary and they arrived looking good and in a nice lite plastic container. I planted them in three different pots with 3 slightly different soil mixes. After 3 months, I got nothing. A few days ago, 1 popped up and died. Today, i noticed a second one popping up. I heard these have weird germination times, but 3 months seemed odd. I requested replacements sbout 3 weeks ago and, according to Amazon they were deleveredca week andxa half ago (didn't happen). Prior to noticing the 2 bulbs grrminsting, I had requested a refund received a response quickly. The response stated that they refunded my money the card I used to originally pay, but if it was a mistake they can recharge me. I just replaced my card because I misplaced it, so the refund couldn't have gone to my card and recharging isn't an option as I have cancelled it. I've requested an Amazon credit and am waiting for a response. Here is my take on this: -I expected the bulbs to germinate much more by now regardless on the nature of this plant. I've grown many Ox in my life and propigated thrm many times no issue. Raw Rhyzones might act differently then those eith growth already on them. -Customer service response was quick, I will give them that. However, a false redelivery is not acceptable. I'm willng to say it may be an error, but the tracking still says delivered and the post office says no record. -Finally, the message I recieved indicates the funds were refunded a week ago to my card which is immposible because that card is cancelled. I will update this review and add stars based on how the seller handles this. Its 11 bucks but come on!

It's nice to try something new
I bought these on a whim. Thought they looked neat. They arrived in a tiny bag with very vague instructions. I started them in little starter pots I got at home depot and set them in a north facing glass door, slightly elevated off the floor. It was February. I was expecting 10 bulbs but there were a few more, some did not look like they would grow. They were slow to sprout and some were much slower. All sprouted. They were lanky until they were put outside and then they flourished. The leaf color is not the vibrant purple but a darker shade. Reminds me of a potato vine in color. They are nice and full. Gifted some, kept some. Some are in shade/part shade and doing fine. Some are in West facing 1/2 day sun and are fine until it got extremely hot. Then they discolored a bit but still going good and continuing to bloom. Very happy with this purchase. If they don't winter well I will purchase again.

Not sure if they are good
I'm hoping they are okay and will grow. I should of took a picture but I had to much going on to think about it. But I opened them up to plant them and they was moldy and fuzzy. I post back if they grow.

Be very patient
I gave this for stars because you really have to be patient with them. They are very temperamental. I have five different plant pots with them. I have some in my windowsill with a shade on my window. They require a lot of water, but they are beautiful and they bloom beautiful little white flowers, they do require a little bit more water than my other plants
