Decent. Annoying that you need to use yet another hub, but these switches look modern and work well. The basic on/off relay also works if the hub goes missing. I've purchased a few of these now as they can control both the main relay or turn some hue lights on (as an example). Problem is I now want all the aqara stuff!

No Alexa Integration, it does not get seen through the Alexa Skill (the product does not state it does though) There are different guides to try and set this up through different regions, they don’t work and will just cause frustration. (I’m EU). If you have Aqara bulbs I’m sure it works much easier as no need to link to everything else. I’ve been able to setup IFTTT commands between my Bulbs (Lumiman, but it seems most other third party bulbs) and the App Smart Life (in some way related to Plus Minus). Using this link it is possible to trigger scenes to turn on/off bulbs. Not easy to setup, IFTTT does have a cost too for Pro or Pro+ to have more options. Product as with the other Aqara items are amazing for the price in my opinion.

Let’s tweak it properly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ – Double rocker, double the control Picked up the Aqara Wireless Remote Switch H1 (double rocker version) and it’s become one of the most useful little additions to my smart home setup. First things first — you do need an Aqara hub (Zigbee 3.0), so it’s not a standalone device. But once it’s connected, it’s incredibly flexible. The double rocker design is the real highlight. You’ve effectively got two separate buttons, and each one can handle single press, double press, and long press actions. That’s a surprising amount of control from something that just looks like a simple wall switch. The build quality is solid — nice tactile clicks, clean design, and it can be wall-mounted or used as a portable remote. It’s brilliant for: ✔️ Controlling multiple lights or rooms ✔️ Triggering scenes (movie mode, bedtime, etc.) ✔️ Giving quick physical control without opening apps ✔️ Making smart homes usable for everyone (not just the techy ones) Response time is quick and reliable, and once set up properly, it just works without any fuss. Honestly, once you start using it, you realise how useful having physical smart buttons around the house is — and you’ll probably end up wanting more. Five stars. Simple on the outside, surprisingly powerful on the inside — and the double rocker makes it even better.

The Wireless Remote Switch is a battery-powered switch which can be used a scene controller in your home automation system. I my case, I used it to replace a secondary switch; I replaced the main switch with the wired version of this switch. Having made the cables safe behind the original powered switch, it was simply a matter of screwing the supplied blanking plate in place of the old switch and then snapping the battery-powered switch on top. I used an Aqara M2 hub to connect the switch to Apple HomeKit. It appears in Apple Home as a switch with two buttons, and each button can trigger on single-press, double-press or long-press, allowing up to six scenes or automations to be triggered. Aesthetically it looks unobtrusive, and the switches actuate with a tactile clicking motion. Criticisms? It requires an Aqara Hub (although if you have Home Assistant you can bypass this using a Zigbee interface). I'd like to see a Matter-over-Thread version of the switch in the future so that it would connect directly to my Apple-based Thread network instead of via Zigbee. But on the other hand, Zigbee is stable and mature, which can't be said for all my Thread-based devices. I'm happy with it and may buy some more.

Expensive and you'll need an Aqara hub or a custom built Home Assistant setup. That said, I have an Aqara hub and was frustrated with IKEA Matter over Thread buttons. There is a reason this button is expensive. It's perfect. Nice click and instant response over ZigBee. It would be nice to pay less, of course, but hey... I picked mine up on discount here on Amazon and got another 2 switches before the deal ended. Also to add, be careful of eBay or AliExpress as the listing could be a Chinese market switch that will probably refuse to work with a EU/UK Aqara hub and app.

Switch works great , installation is very simple, you just pair it your hub and assign the switch to the device you would like to switch on . I am using this with the aqara t1m ceiling light and it can switch it on and off . I would like to see an aqara switch in future that can control the light hue and colour and also to be a dimmer . Right now the switch works great and can also be used in most aqara devices to close curtains or set scenes ect . This does not cost a fortune and is well worth the money. Suitable for renters as there is no cables to be attached and runs on batteries which are included.

I bought several of these 8 weeks ago, and it has been 8 weeks of hell. They do not function as normal on/off switches you need to use the Eve up to set up multiple rules depending on the light state, which is fun the first time setting up, but when they disconnect from the hub and you have to repeat the same thing over and over, it gets tedious. They are constantly disconnecting from the hub, they are completely unreliable. I have other Aqara devices which all work perfectly, so its not my hub. I should have just burned the over £100.00 spent and would have felt better than the suffering I have experienced. Today I finally gave up, ripped them off the walls and ordered some Hue switches. Save yourself the pain and misery and avoid this one.

So, the problem: you have smart lights and a dumb switch. You flick the switch and your lights are dead now. Not cool! So you go and buy a smart switch and you wire it in. And the problem persists! Because wired in smart switches still kill the power. Sounds familiar? Well, this wireless switch is the answer. It works as a smart button (two buttons actually) so instead of killing power you can send a signal to your lights to turn on and off, change scenes, etc. You can also clamp lights wiring from dumb switch days so they always stay on and then replace your dumb switch with H1. H1 can be installed on standard UK switch sockets. You just need to drill two holes in its backplate (hole locations are marked, no need to guess). H1 switch is a ZigBee device, but as we all know not all ZigBee hubs support all devices. My advice is to use Zigbee2MQTT with Sonoff ZigBee dongle running on Raspberry Pi - that will make ALL ZigBee devices compatible with each other. And then use Home Assistant to control and automate everything instead of using a multitude of silly proprietary apps. All in all - great switch which solves an actual problem. It also looks good. I only wish it would come in more colours. My dumb switches and outlets are grey and I would love to see Aqara devices in grey as well.

Très bon interrupteur sans fil, comme souvent avec Aqara. Installation ultra simple et excellente réactivité en Zigbee avec un hub Aqara. Parfait pour piloter des lumières ou déclencher des automatisations dans Home Assistant. Très polyvalent : simple clic, double clic, appui long… idéal pour créer des scénarios personnalisés. Bonne qualité de fabrication, boutons agréables à utiliser. À savoir : nécessite un hub Aqara. Globalement, une valeur sûre. Aqara reste une marque très fiable en domotique.

I am enjoying the aqara ecosystem, these switches work well. I've had another working for at least a year and a half without issues. I think setting up the automation required a bit of thinking though. When you first enter the world of aqara what's missing though is instruction on extending the network. It's not clear or apparent that this is done with more hubs. I'm not sure if any of the powered devices act as relays.

Ottimo, non mi ha mai tradito e ha sempre funzionato in maniera stabile con aqara hub. Compatibile con home-assitant e configurazione facile. Utile per tutti coloro che non possono cambiare l'interruttore originale o hanno un impianto elettrico datato.

Ich nutze den Aqara Wireless Switch H1 inzwischen nicht nur einmal, sondern gleich neunmal – einer im Vorzimmer, acht weitere verteilt in der Wohnung. Und das allein sagt eigentlich schon alles. Einbindung & Smart-Home-Setup Die Einbindung läuft bei mir nicht über die Aqara-App, sondern direkt über Zigbee2MQTT in Home Assistant. Einmal gekoppelt, läuft das Ding einfach. Die Logik dahinter wird bei mir über Node-RED umgesetzt, teilweise auch über den Switch Manager – und genau dafür ist dieser Taster wie gemacht. Funktionen im Alltag Alle verfügbaren Aktionen werden genutzt: Single Click Double Click Long Press Kombinationen mit beiden Tasten Damit lassen sich unglaublich viele Dinge abbilden – Licht, Szenen, Dimmen, Sonderfunktionen, „Nachtmodus“, alles, was man will. Die Reaktionszeit ist gefühlt sofort, Verzögerungen gibt es keine. Drücken → Aktion passiert. Haptik & Verarbeitung Der Schalter fühlt sich wertig an, nichts klappert, kein billiges Plastikgefühl. Der Druckpunkt ist klar definiert und angenehm – man weiß immer, ob man gedrückt hat oder nicht. Genau so soll ein Taster sein. Montage & Flexibilität Ich habe die meisten geklebt, ein paar auch verschraubt. Beides funktioniert problemlos. Man kann ihn: an die Wand kleben anstelle eines Schalters montieren oder einfach irgendwo hinlegen Diese Flexibilität ist im Alltag Gold wert. Batterie & Zuverlässigkeit Die Batterie hält gefühlt ewig. Ernsthaft. Einmal auspacken, koppeln – und danach vergisst man komplett, dass das Ding eine Batterie hat. Kein einziges Mal Verbindungsprobleme, kein Signalverlust, kein Neuanlernen nötig. Wenn man weiß, dass man ein Zigbee-Setup braucht und was man damit machen will, liefert der H1 einfach ab.
