If you mean the air flow (speed), then the answer is YES. If you mean the temperature of the air, then the answer is NO (because it is not accurate when it comes to temperature)

does this have a screw on the bottom to attach to the tripod

I received mine today. Is there any way to adjust the contrast of the display? I can't hardly read mine.

No contrast adjustment that I know of but there is a back light. But there is a back light that might help. Check your battery. It is a bit sensitive to your viewing angle so hold it directly in line with your eyes. But I repeat, check your battery.

Does this measure CFM and if so what is the setting listed as?

Short answer... sort of. You have to calculate to get your answer. Ft/min x surface area (of whatever port you’re measuring)= CFM. Example: device reads 100 ft/min coming out of an air vent that is 6 inches by 12 inches (half a square foot). 100 ft/min x .5 sq ft = 50 CFM.
