great little toy
I am a SLP and a mother of 2 grown girls I have used this toy for over 10 years in evals and therapy and it always entices even the most shy child because of the surprise value of how this works It is a ton of fun and the kids never get tired of it I use it as a reward at the end of a session and even 4 and 5 yr olds are interested The little ones use it in an evolving manner -first with flat hands or fists and later as fine motor skills kick in - with a single finger As they get older they can match colors of the little people to the place it goes Since they are wood and just the right size to gnaw - I keep mouth toys available instead of these when one of the kids has the look of "gotta chew something" Wish they had this when my kids were little

My son's absolute favorite toy
I cannot say enough great things about this toy! I got this for my son for Christmas. He was 11 months old at the time. After he opened it, he was so completely fascinated by it that none of the other toys that could light up, sing, and dance interested him at all. At first, he could just barely put the pegs back into the holes. He loved teething on them. They're the perfect size for little hands, not too small, not too big. It took took a few weeks until he could put the pegs back in easily. It took another couple weeks after that until he figured out how to 'pop' them. Of course he thought it was totally hilarious and it was so cute to watch. Now at 14 months, his new thing is trying to put two pegs in at one time, and trying to launch them with his index finger instead of his thumb, which is challenging for him. I'm sure soon he'll be more interested in matching the colors, and then after that, trying to launch them to certain places. I have to hide most of my sons toys for a little while, in a toy rotation, so that I can 'reintroduce' the toys when he loses interest. This pop-up toy I have never put in the toy rotation. It is on the floor for him every morning, and every morning he plays with it. Sometimes it has captured his attention for a minute, sometimes 15 minutes. It's just such a great toy. I'm sure it has improved his coordination and dexterity immensely. This is probably going to be THE toy I buy for every pregnant woman or baby I know. It's cute, it's simple, babies love it, and it doesn't sing annoying songs. The only downside is that, if your baby is like mine, the pegs will get carried all around the house and could easily get lost. But this could, of course, be said about any toy with small parts. So don't let that deter you! This toy is great! My son's favorite, and mine!

Fun!
Bought as a 1st birthday gift and my daughter loves it (so so I)! She has been putting them in her mouth so I am waiting for the paint to scratch but so far nothing has peeled. Super fun toy and great for hand eye coordination and cause and effect!

Best wooden toy
This is a great education toy. But also fun for the child to play with. Great for color, hand and eye skill and counting. Best toy for the price. Great gift for a grandma to give her grandchildren!!

So cute
I love a good wooden toy. I bought this as a Christmas gift and I think my son will love it. The colors are cute and it seems durable. I did test it out and notice sometimes they don’t always pop up a ton depending on how you press them. But that’s ok, still think it will be a lot of fun

Classic wooden toy - educational and entertaining!
I have a thing for wooden toys that I know will last - plus not look junky on my shelves. My son loved this toy at 1 year old and still loves it a year later. I also felt that the pieces were not too small (no choking worry). It's great for fine motor skills (putting the pegs in the holes) and for color sorting, not to mention it just a lot of fun getting the people to "pop" out. Sometimes I even like to play with it myself! Nothing beats a classic toy that is fun and educational all at the same time.

Love this toy
I love this toy for many reasons. I like how it is wood instead of cheap plastic. My daughter (4 months old) loves to grab the pop up men. Of course she loves to gnaw on them as well. They pieces are small but I do not believe that they are small enough to cause her to choke. With that being said, I always supervisor her with this toy. She also loves to watch the men pop out. She is not able to do that herself yet but it is a good toy to grow with her. I also love how she will be able to match the colors as she gets older.

Worth every cent! The fun that keeps on giving
Bought this for my son when he was 6 months and he couldn’t contain his giggles every time the pegs would pop out of place. This was fantastic for a baby just learning to sit. This toy even helped him when he got a little older practice his fine motor skills of putting the pegs back into their holes. My son is 16 months now and still plays with this everyday. Now we are starting to work on putting the pegs back with their correct colours. Also would add that this product is extremely well made. Beyond impressed! Side note: was recommend by Hapa Family on YouTube!

Wow! What a toy!
This is expensive - yes. But it's just brilliant.. The act of putting the pegs into the hole is itself a good activity for infants and it aids them in their Fine Motor activity.. Then you can just bobble the head which is supr fun (even for adults) and helps them with mastering their pincer grip.. It's a total time pass.. My son will play with the toy for a long time before going to the next.. The shipping was perfect.. Except - I think the original pop up toy is now out dated.. So I recieved the school bus pop up toy - which is very awesome as well..
