I had tried both methods, using in the beginning of the wash cycle; adding in the rinse cycle. The latter method is more effective for me. It removes odour and refresh the sports laundry.

Great smell, sport clothes stay fresh long.

If you put this in your washing machine it will sanitize and slightly scent wet clothes. By the time your clothes are dry however there will be only a slight discernable fragrance. This is perfect for me because I do not react well to very strong scents in laundry products. I would say they could almost sell this unscented and it would still be great. It is a good value for money since you use so little and it leaves clothes soft and very clean like a dream. This is a high-quality product that is easy to pour into your washing machine area for detergent or prewash or softener. I have been using this only for clothes but I can see the possibilities and will try it on sheets or towels too. ~The Rebecca Review P.S. I noticed after I used this twice that my front loading washer no longer had the smell it had before. I don't know. Could this have eradicated the smell? I think so! I also tried this on hand towels and face cloths. Everything came out nice and fluffy and lightly scented. P.S. I tried this on bathroom mats and they came out of the washer scented and super clean! I'm a fan! They dried up nicely on super low heat and look great back in the bathroom.
