Not used it yet for pain relief but found it works really well in helping me to cool down during this current UK heatwave. The price and quality makes it really good value for money. The pads are a little on the large side to make them portable. I read some reviews about them bursting in the freezer. And also read the instructions about only freezing them for a couple hours. But I wanted something I could keep stored in a cool place and use whenever needed. So decide it was worth buying them to experiment with keeping them in the fridge 24/7 ready for immediate use. This has worked brilliantly. When I take them out of the fridge they are good to use for up to one hour. And they take about the same amount of time to chill down again in fridge ready for the next use. Haven't tried heating them up in the microwave yet. I'll wait for the winter to give that one a go. Review: Love these. - It's great that you get four in the pack. I pop two in the fridge and two in the freezer. The ones from the fridge I can put direct to my skin, it sticks and I can walk round with it on my back. I have a nerve issue and cold is the best thing for it at the moment. I know others have said they might not stay cold for especially long, but it's suitable for me, and you can of course rotate between them. I actually don't mind when it warms up with my body temperature and then I have a little warmth on the area too. The back of the item, has a lovely soft fabric area which is a lovely nice soft feeling, and means your hand wouldn't get too cold holding it, and the strap is a brilliant addition. I am really impressed with these, I'm enjoying using them and I highly recommend them. Perfect size and light weight. ## Features - Warning:Not suitable for children under 13 years. The wrapping and velcro ok, but tends to fray after a while.
