If it doesn’t start charging, I have luck with taking off the end cap then if it’s still not charging, I stretch the silicone as far down the Pencil as it can, and then it’ll start charging. At that point, I can slide the end cap back on. **Q: Is there a case that doesn’t have the cutouts for double tap?** A: You could add a little silicone sealer to the double tap hole if you don’t mind going without the double tap. **Q: Fit 1st generation** A: I don’t think so.
