This is the perfect cover, Fits my MacBook perfectly, nice a snug. I really like the idea that it has to soft straps that prevent the cover from opening 180º, which is a good thing, so now when I open the cover and the lip of my MacBook the cover still protects the computer and is not hanging over you knees. The only con, if there is a con, you must close the computer first, then the protective cover. If you do not, the the little ribbon supports will fold between the Mac lid and keyboard and apply just enough pressure on the off switch, which is located at the top right corner, to depress enough to turn the computer off. It contains a pocket that my keyboard can slide into when I turn my laptop into a tablet, which holds it in place very well. The construction has a barrier between the laptop and the zipper, which means that if you drop the case on a corner, the laptop won't be damaged by the zipper.
