Inline filter for a Tempra tankless water heater

Not sure you need a inline filter, you can get a kit to flush your tankless once a year , with vingar or they sell cleaner made for them. It's two shut off valves on the in and out of unit , also nice to have if you need to have work done on unit .

Is the drain valve threaded outlet 3/4 or 1/2 inch?

if it says it is a 3/4" Service Valve Kit - all fittings are 3/4"...

What's the benefit of these values over installing typical $10 lead-free brass ball valves? 4x ball valves + 2x tees = ~$50.
