Seems the technology gods forgot about backwards compatibility. When I received the HomeLink repeater kit it was literally a 3 minute install. The enclosed remote is only used to program one of your HL buttons. Once it's programmed you no longer need the remote until you are ready to program another remote, or another door opener. Yes, one HL repeater will work on multiple doors within the same four walls. I was quite happy that the HL repeater programmed so easily, and correctly the very first time.
