my cat likes to chew cords in half that are thin like the OG cord, but this cord works and it is thicker and nicer.

For a third party cord one thing that is most important is that it actually works. This one does!

Works perfectly for the Alesis Command Mesh Kit.

My second attempt at replacing the power supply for my Alesis 3630. This one will NOT power up the rackmount 3630 due to extremely low mA. It is 9v but the amperage will not even light up the LEDs on the compressor. I tried it on my Midiverb and it was enough power the LCD, but not the backlight for it. Microscopic power output, wildly inaccurate description. For some reason, the compatibility for my Alesis compressor was removed from this listing. Possibly because the compressor requires AC 9v and this adapter is DC, so... make sure you need DC if you are powering an Alesis product with this.

Don't buy if using for an Alesis DM10. Will cause the unit to malfunction and ruin the module. Cost me the price of the module I just bought!

This is advertised as a 9V AC Adapter that is a direct replacement for the Alesis DM-10. This is NOT true. This is a 9V DC adapter. When you plug it into the DM-10, everything will power up but you will have NO audio output. The DM-10 requires a 9V AC input, NOT 9V DC. This is deceptive advertising.

This will not work with dm 10 drums and may fry your drum module!!! This is DC power and the alesis dm10 requires 9v AC power. DO NOT BUY IF USING DM10 DRUMS!!!!
