These do the job for those that need to enhance the contact portion of training and everyone needs to make that contact.  Works well for striking weapons also.  Leg movement is not hindered and good overall movement while wearing.  Very light also.  good product but with any type protection gear you still need to be accurate to hit the pad for it to work.

Me and my friends practice knife fighting, among other things, and we wanted some abdominal shielding against thrusts with our training blades. Bought this protector and it works okay, but really there are a lot of areas left vulnerable still and I can tell we're going to destroy this flimsy thing within a year or so. Here's a video of us using the product[,,,]

Had Marrese Crump (The protector 2/Wrong side of town) punch me square in the chest at about 60 percent power (Still a lot with him) knocked me back a step and still felt nothing. Amazing product. I had to have the shoulder strap sown down a bit as they kept popping up and you could see them through my shirt while filming stunts.
