Why is manufacturer not given

The KN95 masks we ordered here are counterfeit. I found out Jan 16th You can find out how to avoid counterfeits by reading The NYT (New York Times) article, written Jan 14, 2022, called “How to Find a Quality Mask (and Avoid Counterfeits)” “ A legitimate KN95 should also be stamped with text, including the name of the manufacturer, the model, and “GB2626-2019,” which is a reference to a quality control standard approved by the Chinese government.” None of the masks we received have this stamped on them. The article recommends purchasing masks from a reputable source (they give information on this), and to avoid Amazon if possible.

Why did the price increase $10.00 in 4 days?

How about 51.00 in less than thirty days? I paid 7.99 for fifty masks first week of December. Went to reorder and it said 58.99 for the same order. I can see raising a few dollars but 51.00? Price gouging at it's finest.

Can they be used in food service

My husband and I found them to be irritating when worn for an extend periods of time. The material inside this mask starts to break down and because they were much more irritating for me, I wouldn’t think that they should be worn in a food service environment. It would not be a good idea for food service employees to be constantly adjusting or pulling on a dirty mask. I hope this answer helped with your question.

Are they fda approved ??? if so do you have the number ?

KN95 type face masks are not medical masks and are not officially approved by the FDA/CDC. Real N95 masks are officially approved I think (but real ones are expensive and hard to get). Unless you are working in a hospital/clinic or are a first responder, there is no true need to use N95 type. KN95 is a cheaper china version if you want to go beyond multilayered cloth masks.
