Are the valves inside the body plastic as they were in the last splitter?

Inside it's all plastic. Snaps off if you move it around too much. Not sure why the important parts are plastic and the outside is metal looking. Mine worked for a year then leaked and snapped at the plastic part inside which appears to be glued together.

I do not know, It has good quality and am very satisfied with the parts that I have bought from 2wayz on three different occasions
