Probe too big for me, also no Audio tone

Exactly what I wanted but the probe was too big for the tiny wires I would use it on. It also didn't have a audible tone indicator like some references said. For these reasons I sent it back. It did seem like a decent unit for the $.

Poorly constructed but it worked

I had 2 issues with this tool, both of which I was able to resolve. The first was the inability of the tool to pierce a wire. The tip was slightly turned or burred; which was corrected using a file. The second issue was the wiring pulling apart at the bulb; which required a little re-soldering. Other than that, it does work.

Don’t buy

Used three times and broke - ground wire separated from light and upon inspection the wire had bad connection, solder only on one strand of wire. Also light is not very bright Also clip is very cheap and cannot attach to battery and bent on third use.
