Need the removal tool. Vastly different for my ECHO CS-4400 but it does work!
Just FYI, my original clutch looks similar to the picture shown. However, it seems this application does work, My application was ECHO CS-4400. NOTE I made a mistake, I took the weights apart. You cannot put them back in place easily, but there is a way. Let the springs relax, pull the ends apart towards the mating surface (at an angle) so that they are in the groove but not fully inserted. Then, get a piece of wood and press down on the raised weights until they lay flat. Done! After assembly, I tried this out and the chainsaw did move and it did work! I am not sure if this is the older design or my original is older but it works!

As soon as I installed the clutch? I started the chainsaw and the clutch flew apart. Pure junk!!!!!!! I will not buy from that seller again. I would like a refund.

Fit and functionality were excellent. The most difficult part was to try and get the old defective clutch removed. Still working strong and would recommend this for anyone with an Echo Chainsaw
