Wow, matched tile from 35+ years ago!
Do you know how frustrating it can be to need just a few pieces of ceramic tile to replace in a shower that was installed over 35 years ago? I'm a ferret so, am pretty good at sourcing things. Even so, I was doubtful I could get a good enough match for this situation. Well, it's great to be wrong sometimes! The tile in my shower may have been called: *bisque* back then, not sure. The tub was. But, it sure looked like the Daltile brand Almond color #0135. I could order it at Home Depot but, would have to buy a case of 100 tiles! Checked other places too...no dice. So, I was very happy to find this set of 8; I'll use 4 and have 4 on hand for later - IF they matched. With much anticipation, I opened the box (it was well-packed), grabbed two and ran upstairs to the main bath. WOW, a 98% color match! It's probably exact, actually, but the newer ones have more gloss coating. My handyguy will be installing them this week and I'll try to post pictures. Consider me epically satisfied!

Bright, but the gloss doesn't match.
These are much more glossy than others I have that are new as well. The color, Almund, should be a perfect match no matter who makes it or when it's made. I think of it like this, if I buy a 1/4" x 20 tpi bolt from one manufacturer and a 1/4" x 20 tpi nut made by a different manufacturer, they still match because of industry standards. The same should apply to ceramic tile advertised as almund color. If I want to stain a piece of oak with golden oak stain, all manufacturers of golden oak stain should have the same result in color and finish. Every 9V battery, no matter who makes it, is still a 9V battery. These tiles are close to the same color as my other new ones and these are of great quality. The finish just isn't the same though, and that's what everyone expects to match.

They r considered vintage.
They r very expensive cuz they r over 30 yrs old n hard to find, but it beats having to rip out the whole bathroom shower on a condo flip . They matched perfect in color n size. Different website wanted 3x’s as much as this company wanted.. I’d use this company again.

Expensive order!
Happy with tiles, color matches well. Was charged postage when I ordered and when I received it even more postage was due. Would have been nice to be contacted and told that I would have to pay more for postage than for the tiles.

Tile was used to renovate a one handle shower faucet
I was amazed how the shade perfectly matched the surrounding tiles. I didn’t think the shade would be the perfect match, as it was hard to tell from the picture. The tile that I have is bullnose and all it said on the back was made in USA, no number or manufactures date. I would like to finish my bathroom with this tile if the seller has 127 sqft. Just one con, shipping was slow.
