How long is the wooden handle?** A: Total is 23" handle is 4 3/4. Blade is 18 1/4. These are great. I love them. I put big chunks of pork meat on them and they work perfect. **Q: Is stainless steel 304 or 403 grade?** A: I think 304 **Q: Are these dishwasher safe?** A: The stainless steel part would be okay in the dishwasher, but keep in mind the handles are wood. Although it is hardwood, I've never washed them in my dishwasher. **Q: Can the skewers be used on a gas grill?** A: If you use these skewers on a gas grill. Important that you keep in mind that the skewers are made with wooden handles.
