The Cutex Care Swipe & Go Non-Acetone Nail Polish Remover arrived neatly packaged meaning it was not crushed or distorted. I used the Cutex Care Swipe & Go Non-Acetone Nail polish remover to remove daniPro doctor formulated nail polish. First, about my nails - they have many small ridges and have always been dry and brittle. False nails caused more drying, breaking and thinning of my nails, so I usually wear natural nails. Getting the polish on the nails is not the problem. The problem that I needed to solve was eliminating the additional drying and cracking that occurs after using nail polish remover. This product was much kinder to my natural nails. Now for the review: Each box has self-contained packets of the remover. The remover has a smell which is easily removed by washing the hands. The chemicals in this product are also used in perfume-making, so the smell was not too bad. Inside the individual packets is a large soft square of saturated fabric-like material - a pad. The pad was completely saturated. I was concerned that the material would be too dry forcing me to use many packets - but that was not the reality. The reality was that one square removed all the polish on both hands. I had layered a base coat, polish, and top coat. The Cutex Care and Swipe thoroughly removed the polish. On the nails that had ridges, the remover material was placed over the stubborn area for a few extra seconds. One pad removed all those layers from both hands. After the polish was removed, the nails looked a little dry so after washing my hands, I coated the nails and hands with a little almond oil to seal in the moisture. I usually wear natural nails without polish, so I buffed the nails to a natural shine and went about my daily business. Several weeks later, my natural nails look just fine. Usually, when I remove nail polish, my nails become instantaneously fragile until months pass and fresh nails regrow. In this case, my nails did not dryout as badly. The non-acetone is perfect for my dry nail situation. The Cutex Care and Swipe is quite lightweight and can be easily carried in a purse, wallet, pocket, coin purse and so on for those times when nail polish needs to be refreshed.Non-acetone polish remover is NOT recommended for glitter nail polish, so you may want to experiment with glitter nail polish before depending on this non-acetone nail polish remover. Other unexpected uses of this wipe is that it removes some types of sticky goo from labels, scuff marks on tile floors (always test a hidden area first on any item including your nails because it will dissolve paint and paint finishes), removing permanent marker (dissolves the mark then quickly wipe away with a dry rag or Magic Eraser, cleans glass, dissolves plastic to weld two plastic pieces together (so be careful not to soak the polish too long when using fake nails), removing paint on windows, sanitizing metal like shavers, squeeze out the extra liquid back into its pouch and use the pad for cleaning computer keyboards (don't let the liquid drip into the keyboard - duh), a few drops from the package will loosen and re-liquefy some brands of white correction fluid, and sanitizing other items (always test an inconspicuous area first.) The list goes on for other uses for these pads. The fumes are not as bad as the acetone, but still - not healthy for your lungs. The product evaporates quickly (which I like) and does not leave a lingering smell. Hold the package away from your face when it open it and use good ventilation. As an aside, the pad also removed some sticky areas in my car. Again, always test an inconspicuous area first. One pad does a LOT of work.
