Have the main bar station, these are additional sensors to distribute in my humidifier to control humidity and temperature

Works fine. It replaced older one that quit after a few years.

Works as advertised. when calibrating, all sensors were within 2% and 1 degree. Alarm function is hit and miss - alarms randomly going off during the night.

Second additional purchase. Expensive and unreliable. Buy Something else.

I bought 4 (weather station) sensors & 2 consoles 4 years ago; sensors outside front & back of house, sensor upstairs in the bedroom & downstairs in the den; console in bedroom & den. I've changed batteries from time to time & they continue to start back up just fine. Recently when I retrieved one that wasn't transmitting, I found a battery had leaked inside, essentially killing it. So I ordered a replacement sensor. It showed 20 degrees more than it should've. I did a Return/Replace, the replacement was doing the same thing. I tried again. Update 7/10/25: Fortunately, the 3rd sensor I received shows accurate temperature & it only took a few minutes for the consoles to recognize the new sensor. The original sensors & consoles continue to work good with the exception of the sensor my leaky battery killed. Alexa can tell me the temperature outside, but I especially like knowing that my bedroom is cool enough (portable A/C & fan) before I go up to bed. It's also interesting to see the major temperature difference between the shaded one on the back deck & the one on the sunny front porch.

I liked the initial kit enough to buy another 5 transmitters to max out the units capacity to a total of 8. (each transmitter sends out both temperature and relative humidity readings). I found the transmitters to all be reasonably consistent and accurate when calibrated with a trusted thermometer and a salt chamber for verifying the RH readings. You can even fine tune each reading on the central display to compensate for any calibration errors if necessary. Mostly I wanted the transmitters to monitor the performance of a multi chambered root cellar, but I also use it for monitoring the efficiency of my HRV system for interior air quality. I live in an ICF house with a lot of concrete walls blocking the signal from the transmitter to the central display. I did finally find a location in the house that could get a signal from all the transmitters. Dont expect much more than 30 feet distance if the signal has to pass through concrete walls and floors. The transmitters work fine from inside a PVC pipe but not at all from inside a metal pipe. Note: only three transmitter displays are fixed. The fourth readout on the central display can be set to continuously scroll through the other 5 transmitters. Each transmitter takes two batteries, so factor in that cost when buying multiple extra transmitters. I think it is a pretty good value for those looking to remotely monitor multiple locations for temperature and relative humidity.
