I replaced an old camera with only 480 resolution with this one. Talk about a much sharper image! The camera was easy to mount. Did I mention how light weight it was, well it is. Also, being able to switch the mode on the cameras cable is a nice touch. This allows the camera to work with many more DVR's.I did have to move the camera away from the side wall because the IR emitters would wash out the image due to the IR hitting that wall. Really throws off the white balance. Now that it has been moved to a more suitable location it see's well!

Night vision went out just after the return window closed. The only reason we bought this camera was for the claim of great visibility at night. The clarity was okay and the range was not what we expected. I will definitely by something else for sure.

Great camera for the price, works great.

Great camera but the mechanical adjustment on aiming could be better. The screws are very hard to get a good fit with any screwdriver. The lock down mechanisms are also not very firm. You often wonder if you are going to strip the screw before the camera tightens up. Also, the front cover plate that hides the infrared emitters is pathetically attached to the camera. I had to glue on several of them as they had fallen off in shipping and would not stay on the camera. The four little snap in plastic ears are a terrible design. I suspect the ones that I did not have to glue will eventually fall off. Then back up a ladder to glue them on.

I am very impressed with this camera, I bought it to replace an existing camera in the back yard . The detail is impressive at 5MP, the field of view is much better than the camera it replaced and the night vision lights up the whole back yard. I just ordered another one to replace a front yard camera.

This 5MP color security camera is excellent. I would highly recommend this camera to anyone. I’m replacing all of my old cameras with these. The camera is very clear and the colors pop out and looks great. The night camera is clear also. I also purchased the TIGERSECU HD system to replace my old system. They both work great together.

Ordered 2 and within days, one already is failing. 1st it'll go to b & w, and DVR reset temporarily resolved that. But now it has rolling color bars, vertically and horizontally, that move left to right.
