Do need to drill another hole in my sink for the faucet? I don't understand where the faucet comes into play.

We used the spot our sink had for a soap dispenser. We pondered using the handheld sprayer slot, but didn't want to lose that feature. If there was not a hole, I would suppose you would need to drill one.

Could i use this as a portable ro system or is it limited to under the sink. i would like to simply add an ro tube adaptor and link it to the faucet

Anything is possible, but why not just buy a portable ro unit? This isn't designed for portability for supply or drain adapters, the large storage tank, or the filtering unit. You'd need 2 adapters for connecripes plus to build a huge enclosure to house the filter and tank. Technically you could, bt that would be insane!
