Kamado Joe Classic Joe Flexible Cooking Rack

I have a Grill Dome Kamado Grill, that I've had for 10 years. Two years ago the inside of the grill needed an upgrade - the Grill Dome accessories were enameled covered steel which was rusting. The lodge cast iron pan I was using for a heat deflector was also rusting. So when I was looking to rehab my wonderful Kamado, I came across Kamado Joe's Flexible cooking system. I was hooked. I wound up buying the Flexible cooking rack, a couple of the stainless halfmoon grills, the halfmoon Cast Iron grill, the halfmoon cast iron griddle along with the deflectors. I am very happy with this set up. I primarily use the stainless grills for all indirect cooking. When I do the Sear part of the Reverse Sear when grilling steaks I break out the cast iron. This is a well thought out system and well made. Wirebrushing the Flexible Cooking Rack for the first time since last fall, it looks very shiny. They also sell a halfmoon piece of stone. Not sure how often I'd use it, but nice idea. The pieces fit fairly well in my Grill Dome.

I bought this for my brother. He got his kamoto ten years ago. He was quite pleased with the quality.

What a great system! I got this to see if it would fit inside my 18" Bayou Bay Classic Kamado grill and it did! This will revolutionize your cook. Get one and the corresponding accessories. I got a soapstone half moon, two half-moon steel grill grates, two heat deflector plates, and the steel grill expander. Also got the accessories rack and pizza stone since we like to do pizza. They all fit perfectly in the Flexible cooking system in my Bayou Bay Classic.

Super disappointed in this product. I have the KJ Classic 1 with the 2 piece firebox. I bought this thinking it would fit because it had the appropriate dimensions but it didn't. It made contact with the ceramic and it wouldn't allow it to sit flush on the bowl. Not sure if I got a faulty one or whatnot. I can bend the steel in order to make it fit but I shouldn't have to do that.

This also fits my Vision series B kamado. And will expand your capabilities. Look up reverse sear cowboy steaks on youtube. I also recommend a half round cast iron grate.

I have the XL Vision Grill and the Rack System is too large for it. Hard to close the lid to get a proper seal and also grill grates are not balanced when using the tiered grate system that comes with the Vision Grill.
