Tried an off brand flapper and it was hard to install and didn't work properly. Replaced it with the AS 3 inch...a breeze to install and works perfectly, order a back-up for the future. 3" are much more expensive than 2" but this one was less expensive that many of it's competitors.

Perfect fit. Used universal fit before and wasn’t pleased with the fit.

Could not find this at big-box store where you have to hunt and hunt to get anything and forget finding anyone to help you. Looked on Amazon and there was the one that was made for our water closet. Works perfectly, easy to install and 90% less costly than hiring a plumber who may or may not show up.

Bought this product to replace old flapper. Opened package to install and noticed it didn't have to the two float tubes, as pictured. I bought this same product just about two weeks earlier that did. Had to remove floats from old used model. Not enough of issue to return.

The following is not disclosed in the ad. Reading through the clear, sealed package revealed that this has a "setting" that has to be made when installing, much like the universal Korky. However, the instructions state that the new one must be set by looking at the old, original equipment flapper to determine the setting for the new one. My tank shows that I have an American Standard 4021 but there are several iterations of the 4021. The Korky at least gives what is supposed to be the correct setting though there is still some trial and error needed because my tank just states model 4021 and there are other 4021s with the Korky that have different settings. Had to return this flapper because an old universal Korky flapper was already in my tank so I had no reference point to install this new one. It appears to be a good product so I felt safe giving at least three stars.

I always prefer using the manufacturers of my fixtures parts. This flapper worked well was easy to install and came in a handy 2 pack. I am very pleased with the product.

Does the job for a 3” American standard flapper. You don’t need to turn water off either, it took about 5 seconds to get flapper in and I’m not a plumber.

Perfect fit.

Once installed, the slow leaking past the old flapper stopped, the toilet quit cycling every 5 minutes, and it works perfectly. There's not much more to say about a device that's out of sight and out of mind.

A little pricey for a rubber flap but worth it. Replaced the existing (leaking) Model 504 flapper in my American Standard toilet and no more leaking.
