Zymox Advanced Formula Otic Plus Enzymatic Ear Solution for Dogs and Cats with 1% Hydrocortisone, 1.25oz

I’ve been using Zymox Plus Ear Solution on my puppy, Rocky, and I’m honestly very impressed with the results. He’s still very young and active, so I was looking for something gentle but effective for ear care. One thing I really like is that it’s easy to apply and doesn’t require a complicated routine. Rocky usually doesn’t like anything going near his ears, but this solution didn’t seem to bother him as much as other products I’ve tried. That was a big win for me. After a few uses, I noticed less scratching and irritation, and his ears looked cleaner overall. It gave me peace of mind knowing I was using something that helps manage bacteria and keeps his ears healthy without being too harsh. Overall, I think Zymox Plus is a great option for pet owners looking for a simple and effective ear care solution. It’s especially helpful for puppies or dogs that are sensitive or don’t tolerate treatments well. I would definitely recommend it and will continue using it for Rocky.

I bought Zymox Plus for my dog after I had a strong irritation in my ears caused by a talc I used previously to clean and remove hairs from the ear canal. That product caused a pretty strong reaction, with inflammation, redness and secretion, which worried me a lot. I decided to try Zymox Plus and, from the first use, I noticed an improvement. The inflammation has been going down, the redness has decreased and my dog looks much more comfortable and calm. I have also noticed less discomfort and improvement in ear cleaning. In my personal experience, it has been a very useful product to help in the recovery and relief of the discomfort of my pet. I recommend it for similar cases, always observing the evolution of the animal and consulting the veterinarian if necessary.

This stuff worked wonders for my dog’s ears. I saw a review about it turning a dog’s ears red. So I read the instructions very carefully & it clearly states on the bottle if your dog is allergic to the ingredients not to use it. I was unsure if my dog was or not, so i decided to buy it & do a patch test first. Because she was excessively digging at her ears & scratching them. So when I receive the product, I did examine her ears quite well to make sure she had no open sores in them. Since she didn’t have any open sources on them . I Then did a patch test on the inside tip of her ear & waited 24 hours, to make sure she was not allergic to it. Then I proceeded as the instructions said within the first three days her ears cleared up. And they were no longer black inside & she stopped itching. It saved me a trip to the vet that’s for sure. Highly recommend this. This product hasNo smell that i noticed. It is pretty thick & clear looking so it makes it easy to apply how much you’re putting on the dog ear.

Absolutely phenomenal stuff!!! I'm SO thankful I came across this product, it has saved my poor cat from a very stubborn ear infection that was causing him quite some distress. Even better, I saved hundreds in a vet visit and having to put my cat through the wringer even further. Being a rescue, he HATES going in cat carriers. He gets violent, needs to be sedated, and inevitably soils himself every time. I didn't want to put him (or myself) through that if I could avoid it. I thankfully came across this! His ear was very itchy, red, and irritated. After starting Zymox, I saw notable improvement within a day of use, with significantly reduced redness and crusty discharge! Now on day 6, his ear is almost completely back to normal! No redness, very minimal crust left. I am following the instructions and will be using the product for a full 7 days. Although he only needs one more dose, I think I will give him an extra day or two just to be sure. The product itself is very goopy and sticky, which has helped reduce mess given most of it stays put in his ear where it should be. No bad odor either! I also really like not having to pre-clean my poor boy's ear, he's already not thrilled as it is. Although a bit more expensive than other ear solutions and a smaller bottle, this one is well worth the cost. I super recommend this as a last resort at home before dropping the Big $$$ and tons of stress at the vet!

My dog was visibly more comfortable after 36 hours, once I applied the ear drops. It didn’t smell, and was easy enough to apply.

This does a great job with ear problems. I've used this on my dogs ears when he would have problems. It saved a few vet visits. I used on my new dog and it worked well.

Another 5 stars from me. It’s annoying because it’s pricey. Because of that I’ve tried all sorts of other ear drops. 1. None of the dogs I’ve had, care for the feeling of liquid in the ears. The fact that this formula is more of a goopy, gel consistency makes application so much less of an issue! And my dog hate it less. It also it stays in there better when they shake their head. 2. It just works. It works in a shorter amount of time than anything else I’ve tried. 3. None of my dogs have experienced side effects from zymox. (I recently tried another brand and my dog had developed a case of atopic dermatitis from their formula. Her ears were peeling like after a bad sunburn.) Poor girl. I guess we will continue to stick with the tried and true Zymox otic. Based on all the other drops I’ve tried, it’s worth the price.

Wow! My dog had what I interpreted as excessive wax build up in his ear. He’s a feisty little guy and I could not get on top of it with mere cleaning and hair trimming. With a yeasty smell I turned to this product. The debris that came out of his ear was phenomenal, and now he is irritation free with a very clean ear canal. This product is highly recommended.

I haven’t had to go to the vet and pay hundreds of dollars for things to fix her ear infections since we got this stuff. I have a Chinese shar pei so it’s really common for them to get ear infections. This stuff is thick and doesn’t go everywhere, travels thru their ear and then you just wipe the excess. It’s great!

Had tried numerous different ways & products to rectify my cat’s yeasty ears which was giving her great irritation. Came across Zymox as a suggestion, applied once a day for 7 days- Problem solved immediately after one weeks use.! Even now a few weeks later she is irritation free and her ears are clear of black debris. Highly recommended.
