I purchased this as a replacement for another music stand I had and this one is so much better. It holds a 350 page music book easily without a problem. The lip for the book is large enough to hold a large music book or notebook. When It's standing, it's very sturdy, and I don't have to worry about it falling down. It's easy to put together and take apart, and I like that it has it's own carrying case. Although as sturdy as the music stand is, the carrying case doesn't feel that sturdy, and I'm not sure how long the case will last. I use this stand to bring to band with me, so I fold it up weekly pack it and unpack it and it's very easy to do. I also like that it comes with a table top option which I use. I actually use that for cookbooks while I'm cooking. I didn't think I was going to do that till I actually received it and started using it. This is a very nice music stand that works well and looks great. I am very happy with it.

My brother already has this same music stand (he plays cello) and so I already knew I wanted to get the same one. I wanted something compact, that I could collapse it down and carry it with me to lessons and rehearsals, etc. This music stand doesn't disappoint. It's foldable, has a sturdy, durable frame, can hold several things, and it has these little feet that hold your music book open. The base is adjustable so it won't tip over. It also comes with a little music stand carry bag, and a few other little accessories that are just fun. While the tightener on the stand are plastic, the main body of the stand as well as the stand itself are metal. All in all, it's a great stand!!

I practice weekly in a string orchestra at rented locations (which usually don't have stands, so everyone needs to bring their own). In the past I had one of those portable folding stands with an open back - while they are a tad and lighter to travel with, they are so flimsy and make it impossible to mark up your music – something we always need to do. I knew I wanted the best of both worlds, something like a normal music stand with a hard back to make it easy for writing, but also sufficiently lightweight and portable for travel. I love the carrying case because there's actually a bit of room in there to add my music, a book, a tuner, and a few other accessories, so it kinda doubles as an extra bag – plus the stand while strong once set up doesn't feel all that heavy to carry around. It's actually pretty light, and the straps for the bag are large enough that I can sling it over my shoulder too. For any string players, it's nice having a stand where you can place your bow or instrument accessories, something those smaller flimsy stands make difficult. The stand itself has been holding up well in the past year - it feels nice and strong and all the parts are good quality. I also ordered a portable usb-chargeable LED light which clips easily at the top of the stand. Everyone in my orchestra group always asks about my stand because they're all struggling with those flimsy open ones and constantly having to adjust them or fight them from falling over. I'd never go back to one of those!

Excellent product! Easy to assemble and well built. I love that the stand has clasps to hold your music both open and keeps it from blowing away. This could hold multiple books. The height is adjustable, so all 3 of the musicians in my family can use it - me (drum kit and keyboard), my son (saxophone) and my wife (guitar and ukelele). Very versatile. Carrying case is sturdy and lightweight. Should be helpful if I need to travel with this. Also comes with a sheet music folder with sheet protectors - A very nice addition. Highly recomend!

I got this stand for my daughter. She’s starting electric guitar lessons. It’s nice quality. Only took a few minutes to assemble. It’s lightweight but sturdy and easy to move. The spring loaded arms fold down when not in use.

Very nice stand. Easy to assemble and adjust. Looks great. This stand is not commercial grade but excellent for home use. The area that holds the music is slightly smaller than typical stands used in schools or professional settings. (Lighter gauge metal also). Treat it well and it will last. If for portable use just buy inexpensive folding stand it will hold up better.

This music stand is waaaaay nicer than I expected, especially for the price. This thing is solid. Easy to set up and tear down, with clear directions right on the box itself. Stable when up. Works both desktop and free standing. Cute (I got the pink). The carry bag is a nice addition, and they also throw in a clip for your music, so it doesn't blow away or similar. Very nice. I'm impressed.

De poot blijft niet goed op hoogte ondanks strak aandraaien. Standaard valt niet om maar het aandraai systeem is niet heel goed. Ook aandraaien van het bovenste platte gedeelte is wat vreemd. Als je strak aandraait, dan duw je de plaat eruit. Tas erbij is wel fijn. Al past het allemaal niet makkelijk erin. Moet een beetje puzzelen.

Bien conçu et stable sans être encombrant.
