I use this stand clamped to my work table to hold 2 rototy tools each driving flex shafts so the Totoro tool need to Be hung. The sections screw together compered uo most other manufacturers that slide together, & it works oerfectly as long as you hang both sides equally, otherwise it’ll tilt to the weighted side which does seem to Hold pretty good, but why push it, it has an excellent clamp & even comes with spike that screws in if you feel outdoorsy, nice repurpose as it’s mainly used for lamps,

Very nice product to have

I tried this for my last camping trip and it worked fine. The clamp was not wide enough for my table so we anchored it into the ground. The pole is lightweight which is good and bad. Easy to transport and compact but that also makes it somewhat flimsy so hard to push it with too much force. I felt like it could be pulled out fairly easily. Overall, I will still use it and it is very handy but probably not purchase another one.

this item was better than I expected great product

This lantern stand is portable and easy to set up, making it great for camping or outdoor use. However, it's not strong enough to support a traditional lantern it works best with lightweight LED lights or similar gear. If you're using compact lighting, it does the job well. Just keep in mind the weight limitations.

This may work for children's toys (pretend camping toys) or something very light weight. During our camping trip this was placed on a foldable camping table, it did not have the strength to hold our lanterns or our thermalcell bug repellent.

I have used this with both the ground spike and the table clamp. It works well with my collapsible LED light. Helps shine light on the table instead of putting right on the table and taking up space. It also works well as a beacon within a dark area of many tents. It's very lightweight and portable. It actually fits in the bag with my table. I got the dual hook option, not really needing it, but have used a few times to hang damp rags and various things I don't want to set on the ground.

If your primary objective is light weight, this pole hits the mark. It is nicely made. However, my objective was to hang two camping lanterns. This product is way too flimsy for that. Maybe it is suitable for two compact candle lanterns.

Bought on a whim and glad I did. Thought it would be weak and fall over all the time but am impressed. Used it in the ground and attached to the end of a picnic table. Easy to put together once you figure out what piece goes where. Doesn’t take up any room and glad I bought it. I’ve ended up using it quite a few times.

I read other reviews and thought OK I'll give it a go , glad I did as it was just what I needed, to hang a small light on camp kitchen, perfect ! But it is a little flimsy and would not hold a heavy lantern. Good adjustment in hight too .
