Great Value for the Money
My 18 month old Mini Goldendoodle loves these as a treat and I love that they are just a single ingredient, chicken! They are freeze dried so they are super chewable and a great size for smaller mouths.

May come crushed, repurpose as food topper UPDATE at bottom
When a friend of the family passed away, I took in his ancient, 15 year old dog. She was constantly scratching, chewing, and licking herself in an unhealthy, obsessive manner. After the normal bathing and checking for fleas (she had none), I took her into the vet who told me she may be allergic to corn. So I bought the Wag brand freeze dried dog treats in chicken and beef liver to try to move away from dog treats/food with corn to see if that helps her. This has ratings for flavor, scent, and value for money, so I'll cover them first. Flavor: must be pretty good because both my young dog and my adopted ancient one love them. Scent: both dogs get super excited for treats, and it could be simply that these are new to them, but it seems like they get extra excited when I open these bags. I believe it is safe to say they smell the meat content when I open them. The scent is mild to my nose, not unpleasantly obtrusive like some dog treats. Value for money: this is a freeze dried meat only product, so it is going to be more expensive. I got a deal on the 3 oz bags, so for me it was worth a try, but be prepared to dig deeply into your pockets if you intend to switch completely over to this type of food and treats, because as of right now it is a little over $3 an ounce for these. That being said, I bought several different bags of treats and they all shipped together in one package. When I opened said box, I noticed the chicken one was kind of crushed and mostly crumbles while the beef liver one still had whole chunk cubes. It appeared that perhaps the other container of treats bounced around in the box and pulverized the chicken treats. Now I could still utilize this chicken dust as a food topper and mix it in with the dog kibble, but I ordered treats, so I contacted Amazon to let them know about the situation and they stated they would forward the information and feedback to the appropriate party. In the meantime I got a replacement to be shipped separately. Spoiler alert, it also came as chicken dust, so IDK maybe that whole batch has been damaged, or could be that the chicken just doesn't hold its shape as well / it is more delicate, or perhaps shipping is way too rough with the packages.... So if you are wanting to be able to hand feed your dog whole chunks as a treat, you might want to find these in a physical store to inspect the package prior to purchasing it. Otherwise you might inadvertently get a food topper instead. TL;DR Dogs love these, but buy in store if you want whole treats instead of treat dust. UPDATE: after a little more research into freeze dried food, I learned that a lot of freeze dried foods are meant to be rehydrated for consumption. So if you take these and soak them in a bit of water for a few minutes it will reconstitute the meat to a soft raw form. When I tried it with these, the bigger liver chunks were still kind of dry and firm in the middle, but the littler chicken pieces quickly became very sloppy. Be prepared to have your dogs waiting impatiently for you to give them their bowls when you are rehydrating these. Considering this is technically a raw product be sure to wash your hands and the dog dishes after they consume the treat. (Even though mine polished the metal bowls long after the food was gone 😂 so they must really like it)

Diabetic Friendly
My Dog is Diabetic and its hard to find treats that are Diabetic friendly and affordable. These treats fit both needs. I give her one after each Insulin Shot. As soon as I'm done she turns around and looks for her treat.

Too much breakage /crumbs!
My dog really loved the chicken bites but my biggest issue is that 1/2-1/3 of the packages we've had for the orders lately all end up as crumbs in the bottom of the bag, making it a much less value for the price point when you get just a 2/3 or 1/2 bag of treats and a half bag of treat flakes you surely can still use to top their food or other things like supplements /meds if they use them. Either way I'm just not sure we will continue using the chicken chunks, will likely stick with the beef liver freeze dried chunks since those stay more solid and less overall loss per package. Health wise there are a great option and the nutrients and ingredients are great and like I said the doggo loved them so much so it really breaks my heart to not want to continue ordering them for him due to the breakage factor!

Important: Order separately!!
This is one of my pups’ all time favorite treats- which, since I have super picky Shih tsu puppies, it’s oftentimes a meal. 100 percent freeze dried chicken, no fillers whatsoever so ever, no additives or preservatives, just crunchy freeze dried cubes of chicken. They absolutely love it… except when the expensive plastic bag of light weight chicken cubes is smashed, and the lovely chunks become, quite literally, chicken dust. The problem is not the product nor the plastic package used by the manufacturer, but Amazon’s shipping of an extremely fragile product along in combination with heavier items in the same box. My family Subscribe & Save has had this wonderful dog treat ordered regularly, and I have found that a HUGE mistake asI have consistently received a smashed product. Do yourself a favor and buy a quantity of this excellent 5-Star dog treat ON ITS OWN order with nothing else in the shipment. You will be glad you did.

Not the same soft chicken
We have been buying these for the past 12 months as a topper on our dogs kibble. Something has changed and they are no longer freeze dried soft chicken. Usually a good product until the past 2-3 months. They are now hard and very very dry. I have bought at least 10 bags hoping it was just a phase and Wag would figure this out can’t even break pieces in half. I have to chop with a knife and add water. My dogs are very unhappy and no longer enjoy their dinner.
