A real good book for any beginner or student who wants to step up.
I' not a novice player, but I need all of the chord change help I can get. This book is like a bible for those who are ready to start playing songs and learning the chord progressions necessary to accomplish their playing goals.

Top Notch Material
Just glancing through it it really looks like great material. The layout and diagrams are all very well done. I think it can fill in some gaps in my learning and refresh my memory on some basic things. One thing I didn't like is that it sometimes refers you to other books in the series. For instance in the section on chords it recommends that you buy the other book Guitar Bar Chords for Beginners to learn bar chords then later it refers you to another book called Progressive Guitar Method - Bar Chords. The material that is covered is excellent.
